the weight of his sleeves holds steady like they were water-leadened, rolling into folds at suguru's forearm for a raised gesture ( slow, lazy. ) curved fingers in full visibility with no more threat than the resulting curl of black, spiraling around his bone like the loving clutch of a handcuff, inviting a curse to match. riffraff. but decently dressed, hat and shoes and all     seemed like a highbrow affair, as it were, if they could both look past the curse's wretched groaning. ❝ now we're chaperoning a play date. isn't that fun. ❞

𝛨 is expression. indefinitely frozen in worry. Be it the way the lids to his eyes hooded them with a down-turn, or from the years of unrested work .. Today it was Neither .. Today, Higurama's unassertive pessimism is justified with the apparition of a curse, the more traditionally dressed man - wills too existence.

Higurama watches closely, as the other speaks . As it seems, the darkness within the man's curtain of a sleeve had clinged to his wrist. Like an oddly-placed shadow, or an airborne collection of liquid tar. It dances for a second, alluring yet passively menacing - before the void of black widens around an emerging silhouette.

❝ What an interesting companion you have there - ❞ Higurama observes, tentatively. The two thumps - from the newly materialized curse greeting the earths asphalt are followed by its garbled moans. As if awkwardly stapled too a formal ensemble; the demented being feigns an unconvincing, dignified appearance. It seemed almost forced over the malformed , the apparently expensvie linen grafting to its oddly colored flesh.

❝ If it's a party you're looking for, Im afraid you're at a dead end. But still, please enlighten me - what brings you my way ?❞ Judgeman remains still, despite the ostensive shimmer in the endless black that is its body. Nonetheless, It seems too acknowledge the presence of the other being similar to itself. A truly graceful curse. One that stood poised, and un-bias in the face of a challenge.

#𝑯𝑬𝑨𝑫𝑪𝑨𝑵𝑶𝑵 - Honorifics.

Higurama abandoned speaking with honorifics after his episode that court day. Who is truly worth addressing with such respect? He who respects the true meaning of equity and justice. and that's rare in Higurama's experience.

A few exceptions when he's sane. like with higher-ups when hes trying to make an impression, or with younger kids he cares for. sometimes the students. his favorite ones at least.

#𝑯𝑬𝑨𝑫𝑪𝑨𝑵𝑶𝑵 - Higurama + Jujutsu Tech. all taking place after Yuji saves Higurama from his own insanity.

It takes some convincing, but despite the will of the higher-ups - they allow Higurama too pick up work around Jujutsu tech. He fills in primary odd-jobs like a secondary, substitute or assistant instructor.

More importantly, with the help of Yuji Itadori's case; Higurama creates a new system - that he is slowly but surely implementing into the way things are done with the higher-ups and special cases involving cursed-users.

' It had only been a couple months since - with the help of Satoru Gojo - Higurama managed to put a defense-system in place with the higher-ups of the jujutsu world. Promising individuals like Yuji, who's execution still stands. a fair trial before the penalty is cemented. Although this entailed Higurama shouldering the burden of justifying nearly every justifiable curse-user in question, it certainly had to be a more fruitful strategy then Gojo convincing, and/or defying the will of the elders in charge ' (source thread)

Higurama is officially classified as a first-grade sorcerer, with semi-first grade privileges. He has special permission to embark on Sorcerer missions when specifically requested by a working graduate - or a staff member of either jujutsu school. the only exception be in crises, when necessity see fit.

#𝑯𝑬𝑨𝑫𝑪𝑨𝑵𝑶𝑵 - Nanami Kento.

The two have an unclear past. Somewhere along there mutual time spent as cubicle men they encountered each other as coworkers. Eventually this flourished into friendship, the whole time Higurama ignorant to the world of Jujutsu , or the fact that Nanami was a sorcerer himself. There platonic connection grew deep, the men shared a bond that neither one had experienced in awhile.

For unknown reasons(tba) the two split paths without looking back - but that was back then.

#𝑯𝑬𝑨𝑫𝑪𝑨𝑵𝑶𝑵- Mood swings. trigger warning.

After his encounter with Yuji, Higurama's morality and mood - which swayed due to the cruel pressures of his work as a lawyer - seems to be stabilized, and realigned - for the most part.

Nonetheless, The emotional break has left a permanent stain; occasionally, Higurama looses himself, and returns to the nonchalant, apathetically deranged state. A sort of calm berserk, that can surely grow rageful. Only someone Higurama has developed an endearing bond with can likely bring him back to sanity. for ex; the likes of Yuji , Nanami (headcanon) , or the children he's taught at JJK . (headcanon)

#𝑯𝑬𝑨𝑫𝑪𝑨𝑵𝑶𝑵 - Protective Nature

' It's unclear where Higurama's protective nature truly comes from. It surely stems farther back then his passionate, and fairly whelming work as a pro-bono defense attorney - even now that he's left that life behind in wake of his cursed technique - the contemplative man can't help but ensure Itsuki reaches her destination safely. Even if that mean's he has to play police escort, instead of the lawyer for awhile. ' (source thread)

Even in canon, with Higurama leading a career of self-less, non-profit work as a lawyer - a quality of benevolence is portrayed. Only ever temporarily swayed when he undergo's his occasional moodswings/ psychotic breaks, Higurama's public spirit is still prominent. Especially now that he has undergone a journey of self-discovery, He aligns himself more with like-minded individuals that understand a true justice. In light of this, he winds up taking an almost self-sacrificing stance when it comes too the concern of the people he surrounds himself with.

Be it indirectly with people his age/elders (for ex; leaving a snack on his coworkers desk) Or with a slightly more endearing senitment when it comes to the younger children, he envisions the future of our society within. Higurama will protect those he cares for, and he is willing to push the limit in the name of what is fair, and right - to him. (which is why - in ch.238 - He comes out and faces Sukuna/Megumi with Yuji).
