Patreon Tier Preview, Life & Stream Updates
I will start out with the most time-pressing announcement: stream for tonight has been canceled due to me and my wife being under the weather, we're recovering from some cold going around— but I plan on having a makeup stream this Wednesday, August 12th @ 6:30pm, where I'll be back at it again at Krispy Kreme Subnautica 2!
Alright, now to the other updates...
I want to thank everyone for being supportive, patient, and all-around awesome to me in the recent months. It's been about a year since I started making TFC content and discovered my deep passion for voice acting.
I'm not joking either, I originally posted about that first 'voiceover' edit I made on August 4th, 2025!
I'm so grateful to meet and network with so many awesome people— artists, writers, streamers, voice actors or just plain passionate, warm-hearted souls who make their communities better places to be. Though I can't interact with every single individual in depth or answer every message and ask I receive, please know that I read and appreciate them all!
Doing Voicework, Streaming and Commissions Full-Time
So, with all of that in mind, I'm really excited (and a healthy amount of anxious) to let everyone know that I plan on eventually trying to do all of this stuff full-time, which does include leaving my current job.
This isn't a decision being made impulsively or lightly; my wife and I have actually been looking at that as an option for the last several months after things began to pick up, especially since the biggest thing stopping me from working on these projects has been juggling my chronic health issues with a full-time job that has a semi-long commute that is genuinely exhausting.
Being able to work on creative projects and commissions is admittedly something I've always wanted to do, but never had the right combination of income, support and interest to be able to make that decision. I recognize that I'm very blessed to be able to do this, and there is a certain level of risk involved that me and my wife have decided we're prepared to take.
Over the next couple months I'm going to be taking steps to prepare for this shift— which includes having a more consistent upload schedule, budgeting appropriately and marketing myself better with my vgen commissions (and of course getting into a good rhythm with them for those currently on my waitlist).
I actually didn't market my vgen very heavily after getting it since I knew I would be very easily overloaded by commission requests, but seeing how many people on my waitlist/pinglist who would genuinely like to pay for my work just goes to show that I can hopefully do this kind of work full time ;w;
Starting a Patreon & Tiers Available
One of the other steps I'm taking is one people probably knew about for a while, and it's one that I'm really excited to announce: my patreon! After working with others I've come up with some great benefits for those who would like to support me monthly without sacrificing the work that I already put out for free on youtube, tumblr and twitter!
I will be publishing my Patreon page this Wednesday, August 12th, but I've included a preview of that the tiers will look like for anyone curious. Remember: you do not have to subscribe to my patreon to have access to what I already put out. Some of my longform content will be available a week early to patron members, but nothing I put out now will be locked behind a paywall because that matters to me.
If all you want is the benefit of having one place for all of my audio and video content, you can join as a free member or join the tip jar tier to toss me some extra change.
But, if you'd like to have some fancy lil' benefits, like having access to polls for future projects, gender-neutral edits of public commissions, ad-free versions of my videos and even behind-the-scenes streams for how I make different projects (and I hear patrons will be the first to get updates and beta-testing rights to that visual novel I'm making for Nyx....) then make sure to keep an eye out for when I publish the patreon page! :D
Ough, now that's a long post out of the way. I genuinely want to thank everyone who has supported me, both the ones who found me through TFC and for the fans who have been following me for years— I know some of you have been following me since Overwatch and that is humbling and delightful ;w;
