Frank blinks in surprise, before a huge smile takes over his face. “Alex? You’re Joshua! You’re brother is out looking for you.” Frank laughed softly, thanking his good fortune. “He’s going to be so glad to see you’re alright. How did you end up here?” Frank moved over towards him to sit next to him, easing down with a slight groan.
Grinning wide he nodded. “I am!” Alex was looking for him? That was the second time he had heard that! But this time the source seemed more, accurate. Or at least nicer. “Is he all right?” Josh prodded, wanting to know everything. “Oh, uhm.” How did he get here? Same way as every one else? “Boat sir!” Were there even other ways?
"Yeah, I think he's alright. Don't know where he is," Frank added apologetically. "A boat, huh? Is it still around?" Perhaps that was a way out... But first he needed to make sure Joshua and Alex were reunited.
Frank woke slowly, blinking his eyes blearily. He looked around-- where was he? The last thing he remembered was fighting a monster-- Alex! He shot up to his feet-- and promptly fell right back down.
For a moment, he could only stare down at his arms and hands-- or rather, his paws. Frank hesitated a moment, then slowly stood, and turned to look at the rest of his body. He was a dog. A big, fluffy, white dog. His clothes and weapons were nowhere to be found. Was this another trick of this town?
Well, there was nothing to be done for it now. He had to keep moving-- who knew how long he was out? Shakily, he began trotting out into the street.

Sitting down, Josh removed his shoes. His feet were starting to get sore. Rubbing them he frowned. Who knew adventuring could be so tough. Stretching his legs out he sighed. He could really go for a ride right now. Be it on wheels or some ones back, just off his feet. They were complaining like there would be no tomorrow. And his lack of direction didn’t help, all the aimless walking was making him a very tired and sore boy.
Frank moved steadily through the fog, unsure what he was going to do. He found himself wandering the city, searching for any kind of intelligent life— he found the unintelligent, violent kind all too often, though they did not often bother him.
He moved silently past these, and tried to keep silent as possible even if he didn’t see anything. He listened to the quiet tapping of his shoes, thinking about his next move, when he suddenly saw some movement from up ahead. It was a boy, he realized. Frank cleared his throat softly, trying not to startle him. “Hey, kid? You alright?”
Putting his shoes back on, something caught his attention. A voice, Josh lifted his head a bit and located it’s source. With out thinking he let out a whine. “My feet hurt.” Oops, he was really bad at this don’t talk to strangers thing. He stood up, a bit wobbly from his still sore feet. He was really wishing he could just be at home, and Alex would just walk in and everything would be okay. He sniffed a bit. “I guess I’m okay… I’m looking for my Brother.” He was visibly running out of energy, but he wouldn’t give up. The thought of finding Alex gave him energy to go on.
Frank couldn’t help but quirk a small smile. The childish complaining seemed so out of place in this town that it was simultaneously unnerving and endearing. He moved a bit closer, giving the boy’s feet a once over to make sure they were in fact hurting from walking too much and not from, say, being cut to ribbons but an angry monster.
“Well, take it easy for a moment, then. No use tuckering yourself out. I’m Frank. What’s your brother’s name?”
Josh smiled a bit, this guy was nice. Sitting down again, he was glad to be able to give his feet another rest. “Alex Shepherd, sir!” Wow, at least he would have a lot of people looking for his Brother now! But still, he must search on!
Frank blinks in surprise, before a huge smile takes over his face. "Alex? You're Joshua! You're brother is out looking for you." Frank laughed softly, thanking his good fortune. "He's going to be so glad to see you're alright. How did you end up here?" Frank moved over towards him to sit next to him, easing down with a slight groan.

Frank returned a steady look, the only indication he’d heard being raised eyebrows. “Hm. And what exactly do you mean by that?” He shifted slightly, resting his hands on his hips. He didn’t exactly feel any hostility from the girl, but… he’d been wrong before.
She shot him a quick smile. “Everyone has their secrets, Mr. Coleridge.” She turned away from him and began to resume her wandering. Before leaving him completely behind, Alessa turned to him once more and said, “You’re welcome to join me if you’d like.”
Frank cocked his head, regarding the girl for a moment, before nodding. “Alright. Where are you going?” He followed after her, keeping a respectable distance between them. He wondered idly what her secret was.
“It’s that time of the day. We’re going to church, of course!”
Alessa only faced forward as she walked down the road with her hands locked behind her back. It was time for Prayer and Alessa didn’t want to be late. As much as she disliked the Order, going to church soothed her for some reason. It reminded her of happier times when she would go with Claudia, staying in there for hours.
Eventually they arrived. The church outside was huge, the building old and worn but still held a historic beauty. “Here we are,” Alessa said as she placed her hands on the doors and pulled them open.
Frank paused outside the church, a sinking feeling in his gut. He recognized the church as the one he took refuge in during the storm. That man was in there. "Hmm... it looks like you'll be safe here... I'm afraid I'll feel a bit, ah... left out. I don't want to intrude, so, perhaps I should go..." He eyed the church threshold wearily.

Frank moved to the side opposite of Alex, firing off more shots at the thing’s unprotected middle— after having so many shots blocked by it’s blade-arms, he figured the middle was what needed to be hit. He managed to get one shot in before it spun and lunged at him. Instinct took over and he ducked under the arm, took aim, and fired at the thing’s middle… Now that he got a good look at it, it looked like a head.
Alex was about to shoot but stopped once he saw Frank dive under the monster. Once the bullet hit, the Needler gave out one last pained shriek before falling dead on the floor. Alex lowered his weapon, giving himself a chance to catch his breath. Would these monsters ever leave him alone?
“We need to get out of here. Now.” Alex looked at his surroundings for a quick moment. “The fastest way is through the back parking lot entrance. Let’s head there.” Alex wasted no time opening the door and entering the hallway.
Its gigantic figure made its way through the police station and outside onto the parking lot. It stood in a dark corner, waiting to pounce on its prey.
“Alright, I got your back,” Frank replied, skirting around the dead monster and following quickly after the man. He reloaded his gun and made sure he had more ammo on hand. Adrenaline pumped through him, making him hyper-aware of their surroundings. “Be careful— check corners,” he added.
Alex nodded to Frank’s suggestion and did just that. He was grateful to not have to fight any monsters in this narrow hallway but at the same time it was really creepy- being so quiet and all. Eventually the long hallway came to and end and the only thing standing in their way were two doors. Taking a deep breath, Alex grabbed the handle and pulled.
It was nice being outside again. And they were in luck too- the parking lot was completely empty except one police cruiser- with the engine on. “Thank God,” Alex muttered, happy to see the cruiser. “Maybe something inside can help us.” He walked forward, confident.
Now! The bulky monster jumped and landed on the police cruiser, easily crushing it. It was startled by the human’s loud noise and belted out a loud growl. The Siam stood still and made sure to take careful aim before charging towards Alex.
Frank had his gun out in front of him, the novelty of this new monster dying as adrenaline kicked in once more. He cocked the shotgun and aimed at it’s back, quickly firing off a few close range shots to distract it from Alex. “Run!” The thing was fast, and bigger than anything Frank had seen yet. He reloaded his gun as fast as he could.
“Holy shit what is that thing?!” Alex cried out, barely dodging the huge humanoid monster. He had seen plenty of monsters already but this one was by far the most fucked up. Its anatomy was… disturbing to say the least. It was long until he heard a few shots coming from the other side. He managed to look over to see Frank. For a moment Alex was glad that he had given him the shot gun. He pulled out his pistols and opened fire. The monster roared but still managed to walk toward Alex. Damnit, it was barely doing any damage at all.
The best thing he could do was to distract it from Frank so he could dish out the deadly shots. He was jogging backwards when suddenly something snagged on his heel. It felt like Alex’s heart had stopped when he began to lose balance. The last thing he saw was the monster rearing on its legs before it charged to hit Alex straight on. Before he knew it he was on the ground, his vision getting blurry. “No…” Alex said weakly, holding out a hand to Frank. “Not right… now.” He closed his eyes, his hand falling with them.
"No! Alex!" Frank rushed forward, firing off shots madly at the Siam's back. He rounded the thing, getting between it and Alex, emptying his gun into the Siam's stomach. Frank saw it raise one of it's massive arms and brought the gun quickly to his side to deflect the blow-- of course it didn't work. He felt pain bloom in his side as he went flying violently through the air, skidding along the ground before he stopped. Weakly, Frank lifted his head in time to see that the swing was a last defiance before the creature succumbed to death. He wanted to crawl over to Alex to make sure he was alright, but fatigue over came him, and he, too, lost consciousness.

Heather nodded. “Yeah, in an attempt to bring God to this world.” She balled her hands up tightly. “Some one tried to sacrifice her own daughter in a fire to allow God to be born.” She glanced to the sky. “Every since it rains only ash.” She glanced ahead, the store she was aiming for was getting closer at least.
Frank looked at her incredulously, disgust plain on his features. “That’s… man, there are some sick people in this world.” He eyed the ash all around them and shook his head. He kept moving, keeping pace with Heather.
Heather nodded, and gripped her upper arm to cover a burning ghost ache. Part of her knew the fire, and it cried out. “The Order…” Muttering she shook her head. “You wont like their, ahem, religion then.” She gave a faint laugh. It was actually horrible, but she wanted to keep the mood light. With a bit of a sigh she turned her head to check their position. “There!” She pointed at a fairly decent sized store, with a grit covered sign.
Frank turned his head at her cry, spotting the door, and had to duck his head slightly to hide the grin at her apparent excitement over having finally found it. “Haha… good eye. Not that I knew what we were looking for. Shall we?” Frank began moving towards the store, intending to scope the area out to check for danger.
Heather grinned a bit. “Heh, thanks.” She moved alongside him now, hand slipping for her pocket knife. As they got closer to the window she could see that damn rabbit, and it made her jump a bit. Well, it was a souvenir shop… but it was the creepiest damn thing ever. “Hate that rabbit…” She mumbled. But beyond the store window, it was black. She doubted they had been keeping up their electrical bill. “Hey, uhm, do you have a flashlight?” Last thing they needed was to be caught in the dark.
Frank nodded and pulled out his flashlight, jamming the button and pointing it forward. Just in case, he pulled out his baton, settling it comfortably in his hand. He stepped into the shop, upsetting small clouds of dust with each step. "... I'm a little worried that any reading material we find in here will have started rotting away," he commented, raising an eyebrow the wrecked interior illuminated by his flashlight.

Frank squinted at the fog. There was someone else following him… He moved a little closer. It was a girl? For a second, Frank hesitated, remembering the other girl he’d seen here was not all she seemed to be, but worry won out, and Frank cautiously approached. “Hello?”
She gave a small smile that quickly faded away. Alessa took notice of his facial features- he looked stressed, tired, worn out… but he still looked better than what she had endured for seven excruciating years. Ever since then, she wanted to bring wrath upon anyone she came into contact with. But… it wasn’t his fault. He didn’t deserve what other certain people deserved.
She froze a bit when he spoke out to her. With a timid hand, she lifted it up and waved.
Frank considered this new girl. She was young, older than the other, but still young. He frowned slightly— she definitely shouldn’t be out here alone.
“Hey. My name is Frank Coleridge. I’m an officer. I don’t think it’s safe for you to be out here, hon. Is there somewhere I can take you?” He sounded concerned— and he was. “What’s your name?”
Well, he sure got right to the point. Alessa took note of that. An officer huh? She hadn’t met an officer before… oh, wait. She looked at his uniform- it wasn’t anything like the Silent Hill uniform. He also didn’t look familiar to her at all. Then again, all her mother permitted to do was go to school, go to church and come straight home. She wouldn’t let Alessa have contact with anyone outside those areas. It was frustrating- one group wanted her dead and another wanted to use her for their own gain, despite the years of pain and torture she went through. How could people be like that?
She was a little confused though. “What do you mean? It looks safe to me.” She shook her head to the next question. “You can take me anywhere. No matter where, I’ll be everywhere at the same time.” She showed a small smile before putting on a blank look. He probably wouldn’t understand, but he wanted the truth- so she gave it to him.
Frank returned a steady look, the only indication he'd heard being raised eyebrows. "Hm. And what exactly do you mean by that?" He shifted slightly, resting his hands on his hips. He didn't exactly feel any hostility from the girl, but... he'd been wrong before.

For a moment, Frank only stared at her. “The fire…?” He had to agree about the miracle though. He wouldn’t have made this home personally, however, and was more than eager to get back to his real home… whatever that was like.
