I walk in the Sunshine

Even through the night

The blackness cant control me

I'm dead set on the light

Dark souls are against me

But my Creator stands right next to me

I've done bad and I've done good

I've learned what I could

Im human making mistakes

But I'm done burning at the stake

Judge me or love me

It no longer bugs me

I'm short but I stand tall

Even the greatest wont watch me fall

Life is a lesson

And even my fuckups are a blessing

Everything happens for a reason

You gotta know that you can always change the season

I've been guilty, I've been innocent

I've been betrayed, I've been wrongly portrayed,

I lie and I speak truth

But no one could ever know me, not you, not you and not you

Judgements no longer bother me,

You'll get no reaction out of me

Cuz at the end of the day

I myself evaluate

I look in the mirror and I know who I am now alot clearer.

I am my own judge

And I will not budge

Hypocrites whispering

But karma stays listening

So imma sit back

Chill and relax

No need to fight back

Cuz talk is cheap

And only for the weak

5PM

Its 5pm

And I'm drunk again

The soothing it gives me

I cant replace yet I cant stand

I love the feeling, takes me to a place where I feel like I'm appealing

Happy and dreaming

But the reality is

When the booze is gone

I'm stuck with my demons

Drinking to find all these reasons

But you see, it gives my life no fucking meaning

My mom's crying again

It hurts my heart

I wanna recant

But the truth withstands

I'm a drunk

And she cant understand

How I could leave my son

And not give a damn

I hate seeing her tears

I know she worries about me, I know she has fears

Let me be clear

I hate this life too

I wanna be sincere

But the bottle is too strong

How tf do I keep going on

Here's my grandma giving yet another speech

Knowing damn well I won't get on my feet

I feel the defeat

Everyday I wake I feel the hate I feel the deceit

Now I look at my dad

28 years sober

Calling me over

Asking me what happened

How could i not handle this boulder

Too much on my shoulders

Beer is my medicine

And these shots are my shoulders

I'm tired of the fights

I dont wanna argue

I dont wanna dispute

I just need to push the mute

Find myself

Without all this booze

I hate listening to my baby cousin talk down to me

Like I have no use

Ignoring my calls

He got a family now

He ain't got the time for my alcohol abuse

I wanna be done

But everyday is a new one

Waking up to the sun

I will not fear

I swear I will overcome.

Where Did You Go?

Where did you go?

You're here and I see you

But you're not the same soul

You had so much promise

How'd you let this garbage take ahold

I'd be a hypocrite to sit here and act perfect

Just know that I know you serve a purpose

You mean so much to me

But now it seems its only a dream

Why aren't you next to me

You barely even texting me

We're blood

But the stranger sitting next to me means more

Cuz he got that venom and he

Will give you anything

To keep you high and keep you adrenalining

But he dont got the best for you in mind

He's using you and beckoning

The worst in you

Cant you see your shine

Dont you know what you left behind

A family that loves you

I worry sick

But I won't confront you

The truth is you're too far gone

And not even the lord can beckon you.

A Lady Named Betty

A lady named Betty

Came on the bus and sat down right next to me

The bus rides gonna be long one

My phones gonna die

There goes all my fun

An hour goes by

I stare out the window looking at the sky

I feel a stare from beside me

So I turned to look at this lady very politely

She said, "Hi, I'm Betty, have you ridden this bus before

Its quite the tour

Things you've never seen before"

In my head I'm thinking through this, like how could she have knew this

I look back at my window at the shadows that start to grow

I got on this ride feeling peaceful

Now all I feel is evil

I look at Betty and she looks at me

She's says to me that she's seen stranger things

This isn't life it's just about of her being

I'm wondering what she's meaning

I dont recall how I got on this bus

I look at her in some distrust

She starts laughing in disgust

She asks me to hold up my ticket

To my surprise its black and has no digits

Then Betty says "Hi, my name is Betty, I'm not friendly, mostly deadly.

And this is no vacation,

This is your relocation

to a haunted nation.

Black is all you'll see

Remorse is gonna be your fee

When I'm thru with you, you'll never forget me

You're gonna feel the burns of all the souls,

All the grudges you've held you will behold

This isn't a bus; It's a truck load

Of lonely souls, who in life lost their goals So enjoy your ride miss Drèa cuz in the end, there will be no hand to lend

I am the darkness you fear, now you see me clear

This bus goes under ground

And no one will hear your cry or your sound

To Hades you are bound

You should've done right and me, you should have not found

Oh Drèa have I watched you in your turmoil

The disrespect to your parents,

Stealing money to pay your rent,

Drug use,

There was nothing you didnt abuse,

Never said your prayers,

You're son, he always wished you were there

Crying for a mom who did not care,

Drèa, do you see you are reckless, do you see you only cause despair

You wouldn't be next to me

If he above could give you a repair.

As I Lay Here

As I lay here on my deathbed,

I hear the whispers and whimpers,

Gone too soon or so they say,

Not soon enough if I'd had my way,

Born into a faked love,

I die surrounded with all my fake loves,

Except one,

The one I made that still remains,

Sweet boy,

You were my only joy,

I'm sorry I had to go away,

If you could only understand the pain that ate away, everyday, until finally I caved

And blew myself away,

I wish you bright days,

Until we meet again,

This is where we part ways....

Sitting here in this car,

Been waiting and waiting,

Debating,

If I'm doing the right thing staying,

So many red flags,

Yet, leaving is where I lag

Caught up in emotion,

Anger mostly,

Tears enough to fill an ocean,

What's the point I think,

Everytime I blink,

Theres another,

He's giving winks

If I Die...

If I die Feel free to cry Remember all the times I screamed for helped But was declined Called dramatic Because I couldn't stand it My life's always been tragic Never wanted sympathy Just someone to listen to me To hear me speak So I could just release And have some relief I was brought here Not by love But by fear 2 people who did the knit To bring me in to this shit Won't even let me speak on it It was their fault So why am I being pushed in a vault Like it was me who did the assault Everyone has their adult That they can call But the 2 I have don't even wanna talk Tell me to just walk Just to deal with the life they handed me When I never asked to be Alone inside and out No protectors around Just me walking through life with doubt No one to listen to my sound When I try to talk it out They feel like they are being called out But all I want is to speak Because my will is growing weak I'm giving up And no one knows what's up Learned to just shut up Tired of the eyerolls and the hush hush I've had enough They raised me rough But I no longer dare To bring up Because I know they don't care And now I'm finally there So if I die tomorrow Don't pretend that there is sorrow You've carved me hollow A pill that you cant seem to swallow That's why you wont listen Because the guilt sets in You just tell me to deal Like I'm not allowed to feel You call me over emotional And blame me for all this commotion though I'm to blame for what I was fed so instead I lay in my last bed Finally at peace Dead but I can breathe
