Can you do a Luther x reader X jerry poly? Like maybe the reader is human and already with the Jerry's and when they meet kara, Luther, and Alice he kinda is in awe of meeting a human who is kind to androids since zlatko is most likely the only human he knows.
Awh sure! This story didn’t really turn out as a poly fic per se, but I hope you enjoy it! ^W^
“Who are you? What do you want? Leave us alone!” Kara demanded, fear wavering in her voice as she, Luther, and Alice were faced with a group of deviants, all male. Their clothes were covered in frost and they all bore a blank, monotone expression.
“Boys, c’mon now..I told you I’d check out the situation.”
She blinked in surprise to see someone who didn’t look like any of them making their way to the front. Soon enough you came into view, dressed in layers and wielding a shotgun.
The sight of the same lethal weapon Zlatko used only made Luther tense up as he gripped his gun tighter, ready to protect Kara and Alice with his life.
However, you gasped and immediately set yours down on the nearby table. “Oh gosh..do forgive me.” You pulled back your hood to appear less intimidating, before giving the two androids a smile. “Hi. I’m [y/n], and..these are the Jerrys, but you probably already met them. What are your names?”
“I-I’m Kara, and..that’s Luther,” Kara pointed to the tall android, who lowered his gun after seeing you were no longer a threat. “You must be human.”
“Yes. I’m sorry they gave you quite a fright.” You gestured to the group behind you. “They’re always like this whenever other humans come around. They would just..hurt them for no reason other than “fun”. So they get paranoid when they hear voices and stuff breaking.”
“We didn’t mean to intrude,” she told you. “We were just looking for shelter for the night. We’ll be gone tomorrow, I promise.”
You opened your mouth to reply, but upon seeing a young girl peek out from behind her, you closed it and tilted your head to get a better look. “Oh dear..you have a child with you?”
“A little girl!” The Jerry next to you exclaimed with a bright smile. “We haven’t seen one for a long time..children use to love to come and see us!”
However, you both noticed her rather exhausted and solemn expression as she clutched the AX400′s leg.
“She looks sad..”
“The last few nights have been difficult,” Kara explained.
“Oh! We have something to show her!” Jerry piped up, his grin returning once more as he crouched down. “ Something fun! She’ll love it! Does she want to see?”
You chuckled softly at his enthusiasm, seeing the same joyful expressions gradually appear on most of the EM400s’ faces. Some of them even began to hop a little in excitement.
“Oh,” Kara smiled nervously. “I don’t think she’s..”
Her protests went unheard as Alice’s face lit up in happiness as she nodded slightly.
“She should follow us then!” Jerry proclaimed gleefully as he gestured for the group to follow you and them outside to where the carousel was.
Least to say, your heart was warmed despite the freezing cold nipping at your skin. And that was simply because you haven’t seen any of the Jerrys happy in the longest time. They always spoke about how much they adored seeing children smile and have fun at the park.
Now they get to experience that again.……
Thanks to your knowledge of operating rides before androids took over the workforce, Alice was able to go on a few other attractions after the carousel. Then she, Luther, and Kara all went back to the tavern to sleep, although the TR400 stayed awake to keep watch of them.
As he sat by the fireplace, he glanced over to see you tending to a disfigured Jerry who was missing both of his arms. You were carefully attaching brand new replacement limbs, which you picked up from a CyberLife store earlier this morning.
When you were finally done, you moved back and smiled, watching him look down at his new arms in awe, turning them and clenching his fists slowly. He then looked back up at you.
“I’m sorry I had you wait so long..” You rubbed the back of your neck. “It’s not easy driving through the snow, but-”
Suddenly you were almost tackled off the crate you were sitting on when Jerry hugged you tight. The only thing that fell, thankfully, was his hat. His face was buried in your chest, although from the way his back was heaving you could tell he was silently sobbing.
The severe cold had completely muted his voice modulator, as it did several other Jerrys, sadly, although it didn’t mean he couldn’t show his love and gratitude for you by other means.
You wrapped your arms around his upper back, kissing the top of his head as you comforted him.
Meanwhile, Luther was looking on at this scene, absolutely astonished.
It was strange how one moment he was watching Zlatko, the only human he had ever known, being slain by the androids he only brought pain and anguish to…and then the next he was witnessing you, another human, comforting a Jerry who was crying out of sheer happiness simply because you fixed him.
But nevertheless, it made him..glad to know that not all humans were cruel to his kind.
Eventually, you noticed Luther staring and you smiled. “What’s up, Luther? Did you sustain any damage from the cold, too?”
“Oh no..no I haven’t.” He stood up and walked over to you. “My model was built to withstand these sort of conditions. So I’m fine.”
“Alright.”
Jerry eventually let go of you and sat up, giving you a shaky, tearful smile. You ruffled his auburn hair. “You’re welcome, honey. Now you go see if any of the others need repairs. Let them know I’m in here, okay?”
With a nod, he quickly leaned forward and smooched you right on the lips, before he hopped to his feet and left. Your face heated up, although when you saw Luther sit beside you, you kept your cool.
“I didn’t mean to stare, [y/n]. I was just..in shock..”
“Why’s that?” You tilted your head to the side. “Because you’re not use to seeing humans treat androids like..people?”
“Precisely..my former master has done things that were…nothing short of horrific,” he admitted. “He only programmed me to obey him, and I could only watch as he made so many androids suffer. But you’re not like him. You have a good heart.”
“I honestly don’t see why anyone in their right mind would harm them, especially the Jerrys. They just wanted to make kids smile, nothing more.” You looked down at your boots, sighing softly. “They didn’t deserve any of this pain..the cold, the abandonment, and the torment they endured from some punks who had nothing better to do with their time.”
“But you’ve been helping them alleviate all of that pain, no?”
“I have been..” With a smile, you nodded, perking up. “And in doing so I got to know all of them on an individual level. We’ve also formed some deep, emotional connections.”
“I could tell. That Jerry…he…kissed you, didn’t he?”
Huffing, you playfully punched his shoulder, seeing the tiny smirk on his face. But your flustered expression faltered and you sighed once more. “Y-Yes..I don’t mind it, though. It might be strange to some..but the truth is I love them with all my heart..just as much as they love me. It’s that simple.” You shrugged.
Luther nodded in understanding, before he looked back at the sleeping Kara and Alice, noticing their smiles.
Something stirred inside him, and he began to wonder if, one day, he will know what the type of love you and the Jerrys shared felt like.
