A Mullette Fanfiction - Forgiveness
Hercules had awoken that day with the intent of making his awful mistake that he had made only four weeks before better with a full day of wonderful gifts and activities for his lovely boyfriend. He hadn't expected it to do any good. But it had ended in the two of them sitting before a sunset, their lips connected in a kiss full of passion and love that the two had missed so dearly.
Message from Hercules, 8AM
Hey, hey, hey babe. Time to get up, I’ve got big plans today.
Message from Hercules, 8:30AM
Come on, stop ignoring me please. Just let me have this day to prove that something like that will never happen again.
Lafayette finally responded,
Message from Laffy, 8:34AM
You get one chance. What do I wear?
It was a simple response but at least it was something.
Message from Hercules, 8:36AM
Something decently nice. Just be yourself. You’re naturally the sexiest guy I’ve seen.
And then there was no response again. Hercules sighed as he began to plan the perfect day for the two of them.
The two had gone for a small breakfast, not many words being exchanged between the two but now, they walked together through a giant aquarium. Lafayette had ran about, looking at all of the different types of aquatic creatures and immediately, the mood seemed to brighten between the two of them.
Not long after the aquarium, the two went for lunch and as it began to get dark, Hercules quickly stood from the booth they were in and pulled Lafayette out of his side. “Come on, I’ve got something special to show you but we have to hurry.”
The two rushed to Hercules’ car, Hercules not bothering to wait for their seatbelts to be put on though it was unsafe. He sped up the hill to the highest peak in the little town they lived in and once they were there, he pulled a blanket from the backseat and got out of the car, setting it over the hood. “Come on, love, this is the big finale. I hope to God this works..” He took a light breath as Lafayette got out of the car and slid himself onto the hood.
“What exactly am I supposed to be seeing, Hercules?” He stared at Hercules blankly.
Hercules smiled at him before he pointed at the sky. “The sunset.” And indeed was it beautiful. A beautiful hue of gold and red that shined over the city made Lafayette gasp. His eyes widened as he looked up at the work of art that was painted across the sky. Hercules had never been a sentimental person, more like a ‘I don’t give a shit’ type of person but nothing made him happier than seeing his lovely boyfriend smile as he did.
“Mon dieu c'est beau, Hercules.” Lafayette looked at Hercules’ quietly, tearing up some as the wonderful moments the two had shared flashed into his head. How could he stay angry with this man. It wasn’t his fault what happened that night and he could learn to trust again. “Hercules, Je suis prêt à vous donner une autre chance. Je t'aime.” He slid towards him on the blanket until his legs were around Hercules’ waist and his lips were close enough to feel his lovers breathes against his own.
Hercules smiled and caught the Frenchman that slid towards him, leaning in some towards his lips and whispering softly, “I love you too, my beautiful Frenchman.” And then he connected their lips.
