His smile lit up the entire room, and Brittany got that giddy feeling that was hard for anyone to bring out of her. He was flirting back, or so that was how she took it. Grinning, the blonde bit at her lower lip as she allowed him to come inside. They had teased each other over social media, but in person it was much harder to keep her cool. “Definitely not. I’m sweet as pie unless you get on my bad side.” The girl giggled and led Sam to the couch, gesturing that he make himself comfortable. “Okay, cool, I can handle that easily. We should get a giant bowl and throw all the candy in there together!” Britt expressed excitedly. “And nope, it’s just me and him. I think he’s hiding somewhere but he’ll likely come running in as soon as he hears a candy wrapper. Make yourself comfortable.” As Sam settled in Brittany returned with a water bottle for each of them, and a bowl as promised. “He’s not the most friendly cat, but since I like you, he probably will tolerate you,” she teased as she took a seat beside Sam on the couch and passed a bottle over. “So yeah… it’s just us.” Her eyes caught his and Brittany flashed Sam a suggestive smile. “Maybe I’ll enjoy this movie much better now that I have someone here to explain it to me.”
Sam chuckled at her words. “You have a bad side? Interesting.” Sam didn’t doubt that she had one, he just found it hard to believe because she just seemed like a cheerful person and she was very sweet, but she did have some bite to her, so maybe there was some truth about her bad side. Sam did what she told him to do and maybe him self comfortable. When she came back with the water bottle, he took it and with a smile. “Thanks.” He opened the bottle right away and took a sip, because his mouth felt a bit dry from his nerves. “You’re cat isn’t a people person, well then I will make sure I’m extra careful with him, if he ever shows, but I think I will be pretty okay with it just being us two.” Sam smiled at Brittany but then had to turn away because her eyes were really mesmerizing. Like she had the most beautiful eyes and smile combo and it was deadly to him. So he turned from her and began pouring the candy into the bowl. “I’ll try my best to explain everything to you, while making sure you don’t miss any of the movie, even if t hat means rewinding something so you get the meaning. It’s a beautiful love story filled with action, and bravery, and I’m like super excited that you are going to watch it.” Sam hoped that she brought his little ramble because that’s all he could do to stop himself from shamelessly flirting with her and complimenting her.
