She doesn’t have the features that society puts on a pedestal: she doesnt have light skin, small nose, size 2 body, long hair with little to no curl/long weave I don’t think they were saying she’s ugly I think they were saying she doesn’t look like the kind of person society would say is beautiful which if anything is more of a testament to her success than an insult to her beauty.
