“Who are you, and why are you here?” asked the queen, even though she couldn’t care less- as long as he didn’t upset her.

Oogie looked at her with a dull, flat expression and folded his arms. “Oogie Boogie. The Boogieman” he introduced. “And you are?”

"The Queen of Hearts," she replied, narrowing her eyes at him, while a smirk formed across her lips, "Why are you here? A little far away from home, yes?" She found this rather amusing, for she couldn't recall the last time they had a boogieman in wonderland.

“Who are you?” demanded the queen, looking at the unfamiliar face coldly.

“Vitani.” She replied in an equally bitter tone.

“Mind your manners dear,” The Queen warned, “What brings you to wonderland?”

At the mention of Wonderland, Vitani blinked suddenly. Why was she here, she hadn’t been to wonderland since forever. “I…don’t know.” She replied honestly. “I don’t even know how I came here.”

"Oh, lovely..." the queen rolled her eyes in boredom. It seemed as if that was the only reason that people were even coming to wonderland anymore, "Then go to town and find the white rabbit, he'll take you back," the queen sighed, pointing to the entrance to town.

The Queen peered into the shallow brook, and gave the fish a strange look, “I don’t suppose you belong here,” she chuckled, running her fingers along the surface of the water gently.

“Well, I seem to be swimming around and saw something shiny.” Dory dived down and popped back up with a shiny little token slipping out of her fins, “This thing!” She weakly threw it toward the grass and it landed on the edge of the Queen’s dress, “Is it yours?” She asked.

The Queen nodded before kneeling down to pick it up, smiling to herself as the puffy dress sank down with her. “Yes,” she nodded, observing the ring contently, “Where did you find it?

“Down there!” Dory pointed her fin below her, “what’s it for?” Dory asked, mesmerized by the shiny gem on the ring.

“It’s just a ring,” she lied, slipping it on to her finger quickly. Her mother gave her that ring soon before she died. Bringing her gaze back to Dory, she raised her eyebrows, “Where are you from?” The Queen wondered out loud.

Dory looked around herself. Where was she from? Dory didn’t know EXACTLY where she was born, or where her family was. All she knew is that she’d been in water her whole life, “I-I’m not exactly sure….” She trailed off, “I mean, I’m from the water? Does that count?” She blinked at the Queen.

"You don't know where you are from?" She asked her softly, "Then where's your family if you don't mind my asking?" The Queen studied the fish intently, wondering if this had to do with memory lost. The fish looked confused, yet also uncaring and cheerful. The Queen wondered how one could look both confused and uncaring at the same time, but clearly it was possible.

“Must I always be surrounded by guards?” She challenged with a smirk, sighing impatiently at the now louder singing. Trying her best to ignore it, the queen stayed focused on the stranger. “Where might I ask are you from? You are most definitely not from here…” she...

"I don't think it matters to anyone..." She muttered, mostly to herself, looking back at him as the singing finally stopped. The Queen decided to simply let them go this time, which only happened on rare occasions. She would have to replant the roses herself this time though. Although thinking about it, the queen realized that she kept making the same mistake of letting the cards garden, which was something she would have to fix. Perhaps get a real gardener...

"Wasteland," she said thoughtfully after him, and before she could stop herself, she continued "That sounds like a dreadful place! Why such a name??"

“Hatter,” the queen said rolled her eyes, “What brings you to the palace?”

The madman swallowed the lump in his throat. This wasn’t the Queen of Hearts he had associated himself with lately. “Your Majesty,” He said obediently  tipping his hat to her. “I thought I might go for a stroll between unbirthday parties!” A mad grin reaching over his face as he mentioned the celebration.

"And you came here because..." She raised an eyebrow. He knew as well as she that this was a beautiful, but could be a dangerous place to go for a stroll. "Not many people dare come here..." She looked around, at the newly planted roses that the cards didn't ruin this time.

“Yes,” she nodded plainly, looking behind her into a clearing where a deck of them were marching around, in perfect formation.

“How did you get card soldiers?” Issy asked without thinking. This whole world just baffled her, nothing made sense like it should.

"I made them of course!" She gave a small smile, then suddenly wondering about the world above wonderland, "So tell me about this "New York" land you speak of!"
