He hummed softly, hearing the slight judgment in her voice. “I got more than a few grappling hooks built into my equipment, Bonnie. Plus Stark and Thor can fly.” and Clint had already bugged them both into making sure he and Nat could do the ridiculous things that made them so useful. He offered a smile as he sat up, extending his pinky to her, “I pinky promise that I will be careful when I launch myself off buildings.”

The reassurance was nice. There was still some anxiety through her veins - there always would be, Bonnie was self-aware enough to know that - but it was soothed a little by the reminder that he wasn’t alone out there. And the way he extended his pinky to her and offered her the most solemnest of promises startled a laugh out of her. She hooked her pinky around his. “I’m holding you to that. You can’t break a pinky promise, Barton. It’s sacred.”

He waited until she'd hooked her pinky around his to smile, his expression far softer than it would be for most other people. "I'm aware. Trust me, I'm not in any hurry to get hurt from trying to keep my teammates grounded." After all, was there anything else for the team's resident human to do but remind the others that what they did was dangerous. "I'm gonna fine. But we can con Stark into making me some nice armor if you want to."

Clint stared blankly, letting her get her rant out before he reacted, shaking his head just a little. “Raven, it’s okay to care about things.” He knew that she knew that but sometimes, he needed a reminder of the same thing so he figured maybe she did too.
