How to Cure Boredom: Buckley Edition
The 118 are stuck at the firehouse during a slow shift and Buck entertains them all by mattress-surfing the loft stairs. It’s soft and silly and in the same universe as her other fic Safe in His Arms.

I will scream from the rafters how much I adore this fic and yes it did make me cry (happy tears). It’s a look into Buck’s head after his sperm donor kid is born and he realizes what Christopher (and Eddie) truly mean to him. I know I have recced this before but it deserves all the love.

Eddie dates a man for the first time, and Buck is completely 'Fine'. This is a preemptive rec because it is one chapter away from completion and I have been saving it to binge in one sitting but knowing Jenwyn and her incredible talent I guarantee this will be worth the read.

The falcon and the winter soldier theory time: I think Sharon might be connected with the flag smashers. She is pretty disillusioned with flags, is all about doing the right thing despite how far she has come (see helping Sam and Buck again), and I find it suspicious that Karli knew what happened to the scientist right away. Like ... how would she know? I can completely see Sharon finding out about the super soldier serum through her connections and helping the test subjects get out. Could be wrong but that’s my theory.

From July 19th-26th, The Creative will host #ItsStillBeautiful, our annual festival for stories that occur after Season 3 (post WOTL). We’ve seen that Netflix has given Hannibal a well-deserved boost in popularity lately, so our fandom is more active than ever. (Yay!) We invite any and all new Fannibals to participate in #ItsStillBeautiful, whether you’re reading or creating – Welcome!

I find it hilarious that midway through Hannibal - this greusome, dark, atmospheric show - that I was part way through the series and I was immediately just like “this has to be filmed in Ontario - this feels so Canadian.” And yep. Filmed in Toronto. If you have ever wondered what Ontario is like for 9 months of the year - watch Hannibal. Especially any outdoor shots of Will’s place. Very Canadian. 😂
