It was a chilly day and so close the the start of her last year at Hogwarts. The streets of Diagon Alley were crowded with Witches and Wizards of all ages, most preparing either for the first or to return for yet another magical school year. This was Victoria's first time here, she had heard many stories of the shops and experiences. Though she was starting to find that she much preferred Hogsmeade.
Her grandmother had gotten her all she needed the summer previous, not wanting to overwhelm her with such things, but this year she had inisited to make her own way. Though she had been granted premission, it wasn't without some conditions, such as one of the house maids attending to act as her guide.
Was this how most aristcratic witches and wizards acted? She really couldn't get used to finding out she really was born a pure blood and from such a high standing Wizarding family.
It was all a bit overwhelming...
She really couldn't wait to be just Victoria again once she made it back to Hogwarts. As she made her way down the streets with the older female witch as her guide, she found herself hoping, no, praying that she would run into a friendly face.

"How can I ever be okay if Anne stays like this?" He looked at her. "She suffers so much. Is it so bad for me to want to help?"

He sighed. Sebastian knew his friend was right to worry and so was Victoria for telling him now. "Thank you, Victoria." He smiled. "It means a lot to me. More than you think."
"Friends stick together, even through tough times." she answered.
"Oh, I almost forgot." she spoke noticing the sun starting to set. "Amit said there was going to be a meator shower tonight. Want to find a good place and watch with me? It might take your mind off of things, even if it's just a little."
Sebastian smiled. "A meteor shower? That is pretty cool." He replied. "Yeah, I would like that. And would you like to ask a group or would you like to be just the two of us?" He was curious.
"I know a few our friends are going to go watch in the Astronomy tower, should we go join them? Oh we could invite a few more too. I'm sure if we start looking now we could find a few more classmates before it starts." Excitement filled Victoria's eyes, "We could treat it like one last get together before the end of the school year."
Sebastian nodded, smiling. "I'd like that." He looked excited. "I'm sure even Ominis will enjoy it, even if he can not see." He lightly laughed.
Sebastian nodded. "Great idea. Can we make it a party? Well, sort of.."
"I'm sure he would. We should probably go check to see if he's still in the Defense Against the Dark Arts tower. If I remember correctly he's usually there around this time." It was strange to her that Ominis tended to keep to the same areas every day, then again it probably easier for him.
"Oh, we could. Hehe, tell you what, you go find Ominis and a few others and I'll see what I can do about something for us to eat and drink."
Sebastian smiled. "I will. Hopefully he isn't that grumpy." He replied. "Will come to the Astrology spot after, is that okay?" He asked. Sebastian looked at her. "Make sure, you have a spot left."
Victoria giggled and nodded, "If he's too grumpy, let me know, I'll come help you drag him there." She was joking of course.
"You know I'll always have a spot for you Sebastian, that's a promise." She answered before turning and heading towards the kitchens. If she was lucky, a few house elves she had be friended during the year would still be there, willing to help.

"Ominis!" The excitement and happiness over filled the Ravenclaw's voice upon seeing a familiar face after returning to Hogwarts after a long summer holiday. Their 6th year, it was exciting.
Catching up to him, she began to match his pace, the first day of classes. "It's so good to see you. It feels like there are more students this year, you're the first person familiar face I've run into today."
Fun facts about Victoria
Victoria did not know her last name "Ravenscroft" until closer to the end of her 5th year/ 1st year at Hogwarts. She did not have a legal one so her school file only had her as "Victoria Evangeline" her first and middle name.
Her grandmother had been looking for her since the day her mother took her to hide her from her birth father. Her grandmother admitted that she was glad she was hidden from the wizarding world for as long as she had been.
Her father is a dark wizard who believes in pure blood. He has formed a under ground cult to try and take over not just the magical world but the muggle world as well.
Victoria's mother was not married to her father.
The Ravenscroft family is not only a Noble family but are directly descended from Merlin. They are often mistaken to be descended from Ravenclaw, which is false.
The Ravenscroft family is a Matriarchal family, men tend to marry into the family rather than women.
It is rare for a man to lead the family but it has happened twice.
Victoria's grandmother, Lenore Ravenscroft works for the ministry and is an advocate for all Witches and Wizards. She hates the use of Blood status to mean one family is better than another.
The Ravenscroft and Gaunt families do not get along and Lenore believes each of them do not deserve their status, however she believes the family would do much better if Ominis would become the next head of their family.

She was almost late. This had never happened to the Ravenclaw, even when she was brand new to Hogwarts, she was never late or almost late. Barely making it into Herbology before it was time for class. She had taken a wrong turn while her mind had been wandering. She missed having a field guide that would help her find her classes. Maybe she should have explored the castle more on her own without the help of magic.
Sliding into the nearest seat she took a deep breath and let it out. Made it just in time.
"Angus, hello." She said looking over at the familiar hufflepuff. "Looks like we have Herbology together this term."
Herbology was one of the only classes that Angus was never late for. Whether or not that was to do with his small crush on Professor Garlick? He wouldn't tell. So here he was bright eyed, bushy tailed, ready to talk plants. The Hufflepuff wasn't the most academically gifted. His skills lay in more leisurely pursuits such as Quidditch which he was really hoping Headmaster Black would reinstate this year.
"Victoria! Fancy meeting you here." He grinned at the Ravenclaw, an easy smile on his features. "Seems like we do, fancy being my desk buddy for the term?" he offered warmly, he liked the blonde now seated next to him, and while he was sure she was likely closer with Eilidh and they Slytherins, he wouldn't say no to getting to know her better this year.
"So what has you all in a frazzle this morning?" He asked curiously, though he was sure it was likely due to the distance between Ravenclaw tower and the Greenhouses. It was still a distance for Hufflepuff, but not as much as the tower. Though he certainly knew the pinch of trying to get to a class on time. Astronomy when the previous class was in the Dungeons or ground floor? He was never making it to class on time.
She really wished she had gotten to know Angus better last year. Something she regretted, he was a sweet person from what she knew.
"I would love to be your desk buddy this term." Victoria answered with just as much warmth. Pulling out what was needed for this class, the blonde listened to her desk mate as he spoke, pointing out her lateness. This caused Victoria to jump a little, more so out of surprise he noticed.
"Just got a little lost is all, I think I relied too much on the field guide last year to get around." she addmitted, a bit embarrassed. "But at least I made it in time."
Though, she was sure Professor Garlick wouldn't mind if that was her excuse, she was more forgiving then Professor Sharp would have been. Luckily, she didn't have potions until tomorrow after breakfast. If needed, she would ask someone to walk with her. She was determined to pay more attention to school life this year.
"I take it your sister isn't taking Herbology this year?" she asked, her green eyes looking around the room, there seemed to be less 6th years in their class.

The first year at Hogwarts was over. O.W.L.'s had just finished and everyone seemed to be ready for their summer break. Only two days before everyone would board the Hogwarts Express and head home for the summer.
The question was, where would some of them go? Victoria knew a home was waiting for her with a family she'd never met. She was nervous... she didn't want to go alone.
Finding herself near the great hall, she stopped her foot steps.
"Oh Eilidh." she spoke, as she quikend her pace to catch up with the other. "How did you do on your final day of OWL's?"
Everything with Ranrok still tormented her sleep and the Slytherin had been glad for the focus that the OWL's had brough. An excuse to stay up studying and avoid the sleep she desperately needed. That was over now. Now the focus was to be on where she and her brother went from here.
They couldn't just go back to where they started before Fig found them. An orphanage where the muggles had thought they were demon children because of the strange happenings around them. She wondered if Sirona would give them a room at The Three Broomsticks in exchange for some work over the summer? Or staying in the castle in the room of requirements?
"Alright, I think. Herbology, while I enjoy it isn't really one of my strong points. I am much better with Beast studies when it comes to the theory side of things." It was strange, between her and the Ravenclaw, fitting in five years worth of schooling into a single year of near death experiences. "What about you? How did you find it?"
"I feel like I should have studied more for potions, I feel like I could have done better." Victoria answered, thinking back on the potion they had to brew for their exam. The written part had been easy, she had always been better at theory then practice.
Then again, with everything that had gone on, she was sure both Eilidh and herself had less time to study than the others students... or at least less mental capacity. Victoria had found it hard to focus, even with help.
"I think the study groups we had after classes really helped. I'm thankful for your help with Beasts class." Victoria's smile softend.
"How are you doing? And not just with classes, but, with everything." She wanted to gague how her friend and fellow keeper was doing. Fig meant a lot to both of them and Angus. Afterall, he had been an Uncle figure in their lives and he had helped more than they knew with the Keepers and Ranrok.

The begging of the sixth year had come way too slowly. The Summer months seemed to drag on and on. Although she was thankful to be able to meet and get to know some of her birth family, it had still felt pretty lonely.
Making her way down the busy hallway of the Hogwarts Express, Victoria squeezed her way pass other students. It felt like there were more first years than there had been the previous year. Her first time riding the train to school and here she hadn't seen one familier face yet.
Moving past another student, she found herself losing balance, falling into another person.
"I'm so sorry I.... Oh! Ominis!" She spoke standing herself up. Finally someone she knew.
It felt as though coming back to school was the break. With everything with Sebastian and his Uncle before the Summer, Ominis had no choice but to return to the Gaunt Manor for the holidays. A decision that had proved most exhausting.
His elder brother deemed it prudent to torment him. His parents continued to pester him about becoming a true member of the family. Something that he had little desire too partake in. The weeks and months had moved far too slowly. But he was back to Hogwarts, still had this escape from his family for another two years before life demanded he made a choice.
He hadn't bumped into Sebastian yet. He wasn't sure if that was a blessing or not. Ominis hadn't turned him in, at the request of their other friends. Friends that Sebastian should thank Merlin for everyday. Friends that had big hearts.
As he felt someone crashing into him, his free hand moved to steady the other. "Victoria? How lovely to bump into you." Speaking of said friends with big hearts. "Do you wish to come join me in my compartment?"
Victoria felt her smile soften hearing her friends voice. Along with Sebastian, she had worried about Ominis during the summer. Although she had been able to keep in touch with a lot of her friends she had made during her first year, Ominis had been trickier. She hadn't known where to send her Owl and without being able to talk to her friend made her worry.
"That would be lovely, thank you." she spoke. She wondered if he had heard from Sebastian during the break, or even Anne. There was so much she wanted to know but knew it was probably best to ask some of these questions when Sebastian was around... or not. Best to save those questions for later.
Victoria held onto Ominis's sleeve, a small habit she had had since she was young and had done to not only him but many others. She didn't really want to loose sight of him with this crowd, even if it turned out his compartment was only feet away.
"I'm glad I ran into you, I didn't realize the Hogwarts Express could be so crowded."

She hadn't heard much from anyone all summer, especially Sebastian, which worried the Ravenclaw to no end. She had known getting a hold of some of her friends wouldn't be very easy considering where they were staying during the break, but Sebastian, it was even harder since she didn't know where her friend had been staying.
She had over heard many of the professors discussing that they were not allowing him to return to Feldcroft. She found herself thankful that the truth of what had happened between Sebastian and his uncle hadn't gotten to them or anyone else. She was also very thankful he wouldn't be spending his summer alone, or at least it seemed so.
She had had the idea to suggest he come with her that summer, but she hadn't been sure how he would even react to it or if her new found family would be alright with it. She regretted not asking.
The first day of classes had arrived and the moment Victoria stepped into Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom she found herself hoping to see her friend. She was worried about him, even if he had seemed okay before the summer had started, she still found herself hoping to have this class with him again. Just like old times.
