You guys are gonna hate me... HP had a bug in a recent update and my laptop was affected. No fixes have worked so far so trying to restore to factory settings. Fingers crossed this works. HOWEVER if this fails it means I'm gonna be gone a while. I have no luck lately and a failing laptop is the last straw

"What are you doing under there?"

Jim looked up as Bucky peeked under the edge of the entrance and curled up a little tighter in the big nest of blankets and pillows he’s made. “It was cold out there and the storm’s loud tonight. Feels better in here.” He held up a hand and crooked his fingers at Bucky in invitation.

Jim slid one hand between them to pop the button and slide the zip down so Bucky’s hand had a little more room to move in his pants. He smirked and rutted back into the exploring hands. “Well, hopefully we’ll both be coming, that’s kinda how it works,” he murmured, nibbling at his bottom lip as he ground against the hands and back down against his crotch.

It took all of Bucky's willpower not to roll his eyes at Jim; instead he focused his energy on gripping the man roughly, delivering a few swift strokes to his filling length as he sat up. "Oh, we'll be coming alright," he murmured, unsure where this sudden confident side of him was coming from. "Plan to be busy with you all night long."

He stared at her, eyes slightly widened as he took in the words she spoke. Jane Foster, in love with me? It wasn’t computing with him, and he truly didn’t know what to make of it.

"But… what about Thor?" He had heard of the demi-god from others in the tower, and of the Doctor’s close relationship with him. Surely she was just messing around with him… right?

Jane was about to say she never could, but her chance was taken away when she felt his lips on her own.

She was silent for a moment, blush quickly making it’s way up her cheeks.

She was shocked. Speechless at most.

Was she horrible for wanting more…

Jane leaned forward, and her lips almost touching his. “May I?” She whispered.

His eyes darted between her lips and her eyes, and he straight away knew what she was asking. Nodding, Bucky found he couldn't deny the woman in his arms anything; he would give her the world,, if it were possible.

"Yes," he all but growled out, fingers tangling in her hair as he pulled her close, almost roughly so, before pressing their lips together.

She takes the can with a smile, but doesn’t open it, choosing to place it on the coffee table instead as she curls against him again, her back to his chest. 

"Did we say we were gon’ do somethin’ else? Like talk about emotions or somethin’? ‘cause it’s up to you. We can always just sleep and tell Steve we talked. Maybe then he’ll leave us alone about talkin’ ‘bout our problems."

"You really want the emotional talk?" Bucky murmured, brow raised as he looked down at the woman resting in his arms. His lips quirked in a grin as he placed his own can on the table, allowing himself to get lost in his thoughts for a few moments before he acted.

Shaking his head, Bucky placed his hands on Claire's hips, tugging her so that she straddled his lap, smiling at her as they faced one another. "We have a night alone in an apartment not monitored by S.H.I.E.L.D, to do whatever we wish, and you're still considering following Steve's orders?"

There was no verbal response this time, but Steve was fine with it like this. He was content that Bucky was at least letting him hold him close – it was a foolish notion, that he could keep the nightmares away just by enveloping him in his arms, but, really, what else did they have left, except for daydreams? So he did just that, even if it was but an illusion.

When he felt Bucky’s lips brush against his skin, at first, he thought he was imagining it; it was barely even there, almost not even an actual touch, but Steve felt it, and he wasn’t sure what to think. It was so light that he felt the back of his neck erupt in goosebumps, but still he smiled to himself and tightened his embrace slightly. Were it not for this small gesture, he probably wouldn’t have thought of doing what he did next; later, he would wonder if he wasn’t thinking straight because of the lateness of the hour, or if he simply decided to be bold for the sake of it, even if it was a similarly small gesture. He turned his head and pressed his lips against Bucky’s temple, just below his hairline.

He wanted nothing more than to sink himself into Steve's warmth, to never leave the man's arms until he was ripped away from them. A soft sigh left his lips, caught by the flesh he was pressed up against, and he found himself pulling back slightly, letting his eyes meet Steve's.

The touch of lips to his temple was surprising, yes, but probably not as much so as he would have thought in the past. They had always been affectionate to each other, probably a lot more affectionate than society would think good of. But now, here, in a tent pulled so far away from rules and propriety, Bucky couldn't help but need to give in. "Do you know..." he started, fingers reaching to brush along the strong line of Steve's jaw, his words but mere whispers in the cool night air. "How long I've wished for this?"

He shrugged at James’s comment as he grabbed a tool with a sharp end. “I could add a couple rocket boosters, maybe give it a paint job. There were many things he wanted to do with the metallic arm, but didn’t know where to start. For now, he would open it up and see what lies inside. Tony used the tool to poke around for openings. “Y’know, I would say yes. Except that this ‘new toy’ is attached to a human being. So it’s not just a toy anymore; it’s incredible, that’s what it is.”

"You sweet talker," Bucky couldn't help but joke, eyes never leaving Stark's form as he watched the man work. He mulled over the options that the inventor had given him, and found his gaze leaving the brunet, focusing on the cold metal that made him a heartless killer. His eyes caught sight of the star painted on the silver, and he gulped hard, flesh hand reaching out to grip at Stark's arm. "Paint it, please." His voice was but a whisper, filled with such need. "I don't... can't..." His sentence remained unfinished as his eyes, closed, head tilted back as he tried to shrink back in on himself. He had left himself in a vulnerable position, in front of a man Bucky was sure would use the information to his advantage.
