HEY, GUYS! Happy 2016 to all of you!
Last year, I said I would only decide when would this blog go out of its mini-hiatus this year. Well, I’ve made a decision now: I’m only bringing it back in February! I don’t know the day, but probably before the second half of it.
During this time, I’m going to clean up my likes and my following list, because they are both kind of hectic. So I’ll come back with a cleaner and more organized tumblr! (And maybe a new theme, huh?)

I’VE MADE A DECISION: I’m going to put this blog under a MINI-HIATUS. I don’t know when will it end, but I’ll probably only decide it next year.
I’ll still be around at Gracie’s and my multimuse and you can still send me stuff through my inbox, but I won’t be active in Paula.

“It’s only a few blocks away. City blocks are long, though, so I hope you don’t mind walking.” Mikayla replies, smiling kindly at the other woman. She continues walking, slowing herself down so she’s next to the woman instead of in front of her. “So…what brings you to New York?”
“It’s not a problem”, Paula smiled at the woman now besides her. Walking a few blocks was an easy task for someone with military training. “Work, actually. I was sent to do some research around here.”
“I’m good to good people. And bad to bad people.” That didn’t quite answer her question, but how could people be good to others who did wrong. When she said soon she could rescue her, it didn’t make her feel better. “Soon I can get out myself.” Maybe she shouldn’t have shared that.
“Maybe I’m good when I need to be, and bad when that’s what the situation needs.” The cryptic answer would be enough for now. Learning Helena had her own agenda didn’t surprise Paula - after all, she was Sarah Manning’s sister -, but she also knew Rachel, and the clone wouldn’t allow an easy escape. That was exactly why Paula had to wait for the best moment.
“I don’t think that’s a good idea. I might stare for too long and get punched.” He joked as he kept his eyes closed and held out his hand to receive the charger. Now he was starting to think of potential romantic and sexual scenarios that could play out in this encounter. The somewhat charismatic Parsons was almost always a bit uncomfortable and shy around tough, beautiful women so the likelihood of something happening was slim to none.
“I try to be polite but it’s not exactly easy with a bad influence like Rudy around.” Naturally, he’d never admit that he wanted to be impolite and stare at her, he’d blame it on Rudy. Blame it all on the troublesome, little brother.
Eyebrows raising at his words - they seemed to her more like bluntness than a joke -, Paula put the object in his held out hand, her own lingering for a moment. Even after he grabbed it, the woman didn’t take a step back. Simply crossing her arms in front of the towel.
“Well, maybe you could be a good influence on him”, she suggested, before correcting herself. “But I’m sure you’re already heard this before.”

Jack ainda estava preso no passado após ver que estava no mesmo local de antes, onde seu irmão Jonathan havia sido assassinado pelo líder dos Corvos na intenção de proteger Jack. — Irei encontrá-lo irmão, espere mais um pouco… — disse enquanto observava a dog tag do irmão que ainda se mantinha suja de sangue.
Em seguida, foi interrompido por um barulho, parecia que alguém havia pisado em um galho seco o que fez o homem sacar o revólver e apontar pra direção da mulher. — Quem é você ?
Destacar-se como uma militar tinha suas vantagens e desvantagens. Por um lado, não demorara até que Paula fosse contatada e designada a trabalhar em um projeto especial das forças armadas. Contudo, este vinha com certa instabilidade e constantes viagens atrás de informação. Desta vez, encontrava-se na Rússia, na esperança de que a pista que recebera fosse suficiente para salvar o Projeto e solucionar o quebra-cabeças.
Mal entrara no local quando ouviu uma voz, um sotaque que sabia não ser russo, e se preparou. Aproximou-se, pisando em um galho no caminho e atraindo a atenção de um homem. “Acho que a pergunta seria quem é você?” Com a arma já em mãos, ajeitou a mira, sem demonstrar preocupação se o outro fazia o mesmo.

“Por que eu tenho a impressão de que você está me seguindo? O que você quer?”
“Seguindo você?”, sua expressão manteve-se impassiva. “Deve ser paranoia sua.”
She shakes the woman’s hand with a smile. “Nice to meet you, Paula. No problem.” Mikayla looks around her, trying to remember which way the cafe is. After a few moments, she does. She looks back at Paula and points to the left. “Cafe’s this way. Follow me.”
Paula’s smile widened as she patiently waited. At Mikayla’s sign, the blonde followed her, keeping up with her pace. Unaware of where she was being taken to, Paula wondered out loud, staring at the buildings surrounding them. “Sure. Is it close to where we are right now?”

“At least you’re honest.” Not many people had the guts to be honest about anything when it came to the Castor brothers. “I didn’t kill him. He’s still alive and squirming.” Well, he was when Miller left. Knowing Silva and the other two guys there, they probably wouldn’t let him die without Miller’s permission. He turned his shoulder and pointed a soapy finger in her direction.
“Hey, Coady isn’t coming back for a few hours. I’m hoping right now we’re just talking as friends and not colleagues because I’m really not in the mood for someone to tattletale on me.”
A shrug was followed by her frown decreasing slightly. Sure, the situation wasn't ideal, but a lot of unnecessary headache would be averted if the prisoner was still alive. Miller's soapy hand didn't faze her in the least. Instead, Paula uncrossed her arms and took a few steps towards him, leaning against the side of the washbasin and staring at the man in the eyes.
"I won't tattletale you", they were adults after all. "I'm just letting you know that I won't take the blame for something you did." Inclining closer to him, she continued. "But if he's still alive, then there'll be no need for it. We can go talk to him again. Maybe you've scared him enough to say something." If not, she would have no trouble doing that herself.
Trill licked her lips, knowing she couldn’t be fully truthful, “I worked for a tourists office back in Wales; it was my dad’s old job before he passed. After that I did a bit of travelling, which is when I met Shaggy and decided to co-run a B&B with him.” Of course she’d been hunting supernatural creatures while travelling, but that was a detail that she preferred to leave out. She shook her head, and smiled, “It’s no problem at all. They’re just over here.” Going over to the counter she pulled out a tray and set some of the food on it for Paula, “I’ve always liked meeting new people, so running a place like this has so far never felt like a job to me.” Heading back to the table she set the tray down for her guest, “Is today your day off?”
“I see… Was that how you ended up in this city? Through your travels?” She kept on her politeness, smiling. “Thank you”, Paula grabbed one of the muffins on the tray, taking a bite of it before replying. “That’s nice of you. Personally, I’m not sure how I’d feel dealing with so many guests.”
“Yes, it is. I wanted to do something different than usual today and thought coming here could be a good idea”, Paula mentioned as she took one more bite. “This is good”, she raised the muffin slightly. “Did you bake it?”
