Another bump of his nose against her’s before features slip to something solemn, a softly muttered thank you slipping from the tip of Thomas’ tongue before his throat clears and in solidarity does he pull away and gesture towards the front door. “I’ll go inside.” and not run off again -- he means to add but the words get stuck in his throat. He can’t promise that.

“Hey, Stiles--?” And Thomas knows he’s interrupting research, or maybe even homework, with the echo of click clack from a keyboard sounding out as he rounds to stand in front of his twin’s bedroom door. “Can I just, stay in here with you for a while? It’s too weird being alone in my room.” Thomas isn’t used to being alone in general and the feeling doesn’t sit too well within him.

“Heard you had a tough week.” More like year if Thomas had to be honest about the happenings he has been learning about in Beacon Hills lately. He’s not sure how long he’ll be around for -- though there is a tugging sensation to do something before he disappears again. “Not much for arcades or crowded places so I was thinking maybe we could go for a run in the preserve? Might help to clear your head some.”

Motions are fluid with a small smile pressing at the corners of lips, body sitting with an ache as Thomas gets comfortable. Arms rest upon knees, finger picks at a scab before his head shakes. “No, no I’m alright. Not really used to having everything so...accessible, yet.” Leave it to Peter to make him feel at ease though, chest less tense as the young man relaxes finally against the back cushion of the couch. “I didn’t ruin your night, did I?”

He remembers waking up on sand and lightning erupting through the sky, remembers running with his friends to safety and almost losing Minho (and himself) in the process. So how did Thomas manage to slip back to this reality? He feels a weight of agitation and panic rising but keeps it down as he sits on his brother’s bed and thinks. Did he pass out? Is that how he ended up here? Thomas has never shifted from one place to another while conscious before -- or...not that he can remember at least. The window sliding open makes him jump almost completely off the mattress before he settles and side eyes the intruder (though Thomas should be more weary of people coming into his twin’s bedroom than he is).

“Stiles isn’t here right now, Theo.” Voice comes out in a rush, an attempt at hoping that will make the chimera leave quicker so Thomas can breathe and figure out how to get back. There was danger happening in the scorch and leaving his friends behind to face the mess he put them in is not exactly something he wants to be doing right now.

The new season coming of up TW is going to be interesting considering I can tie Thomas in even more with the whole forgetting thing. I’m kind of excited about that at the very least but I probably won’t be changing his story at all.

She’d only been looking for him for twenty minutes, and wanted to get him back inside and out of the rain. “You can’t keep worrying about that…” Everything he’d been through, what he’d seen and felt, the people he’d lost; it was far too dangerous for him to let himself get lost in it all.

“You’re here now, with us. We might have some crazy things here, but I promise we aren’t leaving you. Doesn’t matter how many times you disappear on us.” Fingertips slid up along the side of his face, brushed a few stray drops of rain away before they could get too close to his eyes and the beta leaned up to accept the kiss from the older teen. “If you come inside, I’ll even let you wear Brett’s fuzzy robe.”
