THEY KNEW EXACTLY WHAT THEY WERE doing, how much they were DISGUSTING her, but also arousing her. Bodies worked in the funniest of ways after all. And that amused them greatly. They always did love a little bit of SELF HATE, they did after all, practically major in it for the entirety of their human life. But they’re above that now, and then can’t help but chuckle as they continue to rub their COLD hands up the man’s body, eliciting a loud HISS.

Humans could be INCREDIBLY stupid when they wanted to be. But that stupidity could be joyful, especially if they were able to take advantage of it. Nine times out of ten it ended with Gabrielle’s teeth in their throat, sucking the very LIFE out of them. And tonight was obviously going to be the same tonight, except today there would be a little bit of EXTRA entertainment, a rather soused witch. And they always did like playing with witches. Now wouldn’t be any different, even if this one HATED them for some reason.   

     “Oh, I know. And ——”

A laugh that could rival Tim Curry falls from their lips, it’s full of promise and yet utterly TERRIFYING.

       “Well, a lady never DIVULGES their secrets. It’ll be HOT there’s nothing like it.”

        she’s never seen a vampire make work of someone and her curiosity must show on her face with the way that they’re smiling. she shifts atop her barstool and quickly reaches out to steady herself, the smile that she’d donned earlier long gone. she doesn’t trust them, especially not in a private setting when her focus was far from at its regular potential.

                  “ya know, huh?” a chill runs up her spine as they laugh. as if she needed any more red flags to be raised. “dying’s hot to you?” dumb question, but her regular quips are escaping her at the very moment. lena knows one thing, however. she may be able to deny them now but she’d have to sober up completely to have her wits about her when she decides to leave.

                  “film it for me then.” a chuckle as she blinks slowly, eyes blurry as her thoughts quiet momentarily. she feels lighter, all of her does. the liquor makes her feel alone in her own head, the voices of the dead drowned out beneath its weight.

          amanda’s reasoning for moving thirteen hours away from the place she had called home her entire life was much more personal - so she doesn’t share. instead she nods, the weight of the alcohol she’s been consuming all night slowly catching up to her.

          but she had to agree. new york and georgia definitely had different times of people. over the years, she’s found people down south actually did have a good bid of hospitality, unlike the north. a part of her is glad it’s different. 

          “so,” she flashes a smile, “what’s your opinion on the fine people of new york?”

              “well.” there’s a plethora of things she could say. she could talk up a population that she’d only had the pleasure of interacting with a fraction of. it wouldn’t take much effort and it’d be based off of her experience ( and a few assumptions, however wild or not ). “it’s not like everyone’s boring, so that helps.” not that new orleans was relatively normal by any means. “’m not a fan of being so close to my neighbors either.”
