That’s right, folks. I’m going to officially announce the elephant in the room.

I’ve tried everything to regain muse for Stuart, but it just doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen. So it’s with a heavy heart that I put this blog on an indefinite hiatus. 

I’ve had many a great experiences on this blog in the 2+ years I’ve had it and I can’t thank you all enough for making it possible. To all of you, old and new. To the ones that are no longer around. Thank you so much for everything and for giving Stuart a chance! It means more to me than you know.

I’m not saying for sure this is the last you’ll see of him. I could return, but for now, I just don’t know.

Watching a video about why hollywood won’t cast taylor lautner anymore (dont judge me okay. i got pulled into video clickbait hell) and one of the points was

‘he got replaced by a hotter werewolf’. and then it goes on to talk about DYLAN O’BRIEN/STILES from Teen wolf. Like....what the fuck guys. THE teen wolf is Scott. Why aren’t you mentioning him? Stiles is literally like, one of the only non werewolf characters in the show

OCS ARE IMPORTANT. OCS DESERVE LOVE AND RESPECT TOO.

I get tired of this stigma against original characters that, just because they aren’t a canon character, they automatically suck. People playing OCs should get mad respect, because they take so much time to build a character from scratch. They develop back stories for them, and bad habits, and hopes and fears, and thoughts. They are literally creating a whole person, down to the most seemingly ineffectual things——like ways they walk or lay in bed——and anyone willing to spend that much time should NOT be treated like an outcast in a writing community.

It just really gets to me, as someone whose whole RPing experience has mostly been writing OCs, to see how grossly under appreciated OC blogs are. I am INCREDIBLY lucky to have an original character that I’ve RPed for almost two years that has been met with love and acceptance, but that is not the case for most ocs out there.

I can’t tell you how many people I’ve seen, or talked to, that have been treated like utter shit just because they don’t play a canon character. That’s not right, okay?

Respect OC RPing people and their characters, don’t bring them down. After all, every single character you hold dear is SOMEONE’S OC. Always remember that.

Oh God & Oh no & Oh fuck. It was too                                                                                                       much, it was absolutely too much; he                                                                                                             didn’t like it and she’s sent him into shock.                                                                                                         But she couldn’t shake the thought of just                                                                                                       doing it again, one last time before her told                                                                                                         her to fuck off  ––– yep, she was jumping to                                                                                         conclusions. 

                “Stuart, that’s wonderful! Sweet                                                                                                                                                of you to look out for your father like that.” 

Well it was probably normal; but how would she                                                                                                know? I am going to hate myself, but he looks                                                                                                   so endearing all stunned. Have mercy on me,                                                                                                   Stu; but, FUCK IT.

With that decision, she once more pulled                                                                                                     his face to hers, hoping he’d at least let                                                                                                       her have a longer kiss, just this once. 

          He scoffs a bit at the assumption that he’s trying to           look out for his dad. He hates to admit as much seeing           how much he butts heads with his father. But he sees the           stress the man carries as is; he wouldn’t want to cause more.

                 “If you say so.”

          He says nonchalantly, wondering if he can get away with not           actually giving her more details about the job he’s picked up.           And it seems he gets the opportunity to do JUST that, but—           but if he was shocked the first time Morticia kissed him? There           isn’t a word for the surprise he feels the second time she pulls           him in for a kiss. He considers for a second that it’s some cruel           joke, even if he knows she would never do such a thing. With           more than a bit of caution, his hands go to cradle her face,           pressing into the kiss this time. 

       This better not be some cruel joke or he may just scream.

& ANOTHER WERETHING?

She didn’t know Stuart personally but she knew of him because of the moments that Stiles used to talk about him and now he was back. She was sure the change must be hard since she knew all too well what it  was like to move and have to come back to somewhere that should  be home but isn’t anymore. She wanted to approach but she didn’t know how to. The girl glanced up just in time to see a football heading towards him and suddenly her eyes flashed for just a moment to divert the direction of the ball away from him, quickly she made her eyes fade back to normal but obviously not quick enough. She was practically sure that he had seen her eyes’ glow. Harley froze up for a moment and then looked away, she  gripped her books to her chest and attempted to walk off.

        So Stuart had a bad habit of not paying attention to his         surroundings. He had a tendency to keep his gaze focused on         the screen of his phone. But he wasn’t THAT blind. He saw the         blur of motion, turned in time to see the football careening right         for his head. But then it just...veered away. He was NOT ignorant         to what kind of a place Beacon Hills was. He knew that in this town,         if you stared into the dark, there was most always going to be some         unnatural horror staring right back. He was keen on these kinds of         things, and the types of signs to look out for. Gaze darting around         him, he caught an unmistakable glint in a girl’s eyes that couldn’t         be a trick of the sunlight. “You’re fuckin’ kidding me.” He said,         watching her promptly avert her gaze and begin walking away.

      “You.” He said, jogging to catch up to her and going to stop in her        way. “Start talking NOW. What are you?”

& NICO.

                He loves that he’d managed to shock him. Not only                 keep on par with his sarcasm and bantering, but also                  throw him off. He’s rather proud of himself. 

                                          “Yeah, I get that a lot.” 

                Amused, and forgetting about all the other housemates                  for the moment, he steps forward and holds out a hand in                  an offer for a friendly shake. 

                          “We good?”

        “——Not exactly something you should openly admit.”

      He says slowly, more than a little stumped about this guy.       What does he even DO that got him enough votes for        people to vote him in? Well, at any rate, they’re going to be       roommates for the foreseeable future, so he’ll find out       eventually.

       “Good is a very operative word in this sense.”

      He says as he watches Nico step closer and hold a hand       out. He’s reluctant, but gives him a quick hand shake        before stuffing his hand into almost inaccessably tight       pants pockets.

Literally, over HALF of the blogs I follow have been inactive for months. So could some people please please please rec me some good teen wolf blogs, (especially ocs!), or fandomless ocs to check out? I will love you 4ever
