ash  was  quick to notice her.  how could he not , when he practically had his eyes on her twenty four hours a day  ?  some would call it stalking  and he’d admit , it was borderline true. but  !  he’d  call it guarding.  people passed , gazes  falling on the musically talented young woman.  if he were  anyone  normal , he’d watch from afar.  but  ASHLEY  DE  LA  CRUZ  was  anything but. not when it came to   sadie  perkins.   he was ready for  a  punch ,  jumping behind the  young  brunette screaming  (   ! !   ).  ❛  BOO  !  ❜

BOTH THE GIRL and her dog jumped from the bench at the unnerving scream which had came from behind them. “ ash , you dick ! ” her heart was still racing but that didn’t stop her from giggling. sadie patted her dog in hopes of calming him. “ can’t you be normal for two (2) seconds ? the song was almost over. ” she sat back down on the bench , now facing the other , sitting criss cross. sadie put her elbow on the backrest before resting her head on her hand. “ how are you ? ”

THE DAY was long. first the barista gave her the wrong order twice and then an asshole drove past her, creating what felt like a tsunami crashing on top of her -- needless to say , it was NOT a good day. sadie decided to do her usual; cuddle with bear while watching some kind of movie. however , on this particular day , the sun had risen and there was not a single cloud in the sky. and so, the girl decided to take her boxer and her guitar and headed to the park. playing her guitar was always a mood booster. she sat herself ( and bear ) down on a bench and began to play one of her favourite songs , not paying mind to people who passed by. this was her happy place.

she got adopted by her foster parents & has 5 foster siblings

^^ she, to this day, doesn’t know anything about her biological parents ( mother ran away with a younger man when she was super young & father lost custody of her due to false accusations that he couldn’t prove were lies )

isn’t afraid to tell you when you’re wrong, even if it gets her into trouble

she also has some ... trust issues. they aren’t too extreme or anything

despite looking a little rough around the edges ( eye bags, messy hair, ripped jeans ), she’s actually very friendly. like she doesn’t fight unless you fight her first

sadie is bi & she leans more towards girls

sadie has a boxer named Bear who is literally the love of her life

she also loves to just .... chill ? she’s such an understanding person and never holds anything against you

hates getting caught up in drama and thinks it’s annoying when people start shit without reason

being among vampires, werewolves, witches and guardian angels ( oh my ! ) doesn’t really affect her ? it took some time to get used to it but sadie thinks it’s really cool tbh. so long as they don’t try to kill or curse her, it’s all good
