(( I figured I should say I sent in a Drop for all of my Citta characters. I was having a lot of fun, I just... ended up losing motivation for these blogs, I guess. I’m not really certain what caused it and everyone I’ve talked to and threaded with here has been a lot of fun, but I figure it’ll be better to just admit I’m not interested anymore than to force myself to do replies and make the starters I owe.

Sorry to everyone I was threading with and that I owed stuff to! And if anyone’s still interested in talking to me or such, feel free to contact me on my OOC tumblr. Thanks for the fun times, and I hope everyone keeps on enjoying themselves as much as I have! ))

There was no mistaking that tall figure, even as he rode far above Micaiah’s own head, on top of a majestic yet ominous throne. She could not identify what material it might be made from, but whatever it was also seemed to be what fueled the figures that were holding the throne.

A small shiver traveled down her spine in response to the eerie presence that the entire display gave off. Certainly, she had seen dark magics in her own world, but what was before her now... It was something that shouldn’t even be touched, much less used for play. At least, that was the impression she was under.

It went without saying that he was not here to help the efforts to protect the town from mass slaughter. They had only met once before, but that was more than enough to tell he wouldn’t get involved unless he felt there was something to gain from it. And with how he was using his powers, she quickly guessed that this was just a game or show to him.

There was no point to talking to him, so she stayed by the side of the street and merely watched him pass by with a forlorn expression. She did not try to hide herself, so with the absence of most of the town’s population and her silver hair it was more likely than not for her to be noticed... and hopefully ignored.

“Again, I’m so sorry for almost hurting you.” He replied one last time, still unsure if this girl was truly okay with it. No harm in saying one last apology.

“I’m trying to get to this sector’s library! It’s the last library I need to go through before I’ve read every book this city has to offer!” He explained, grinning as if that feat had been accomplished once before. Sure it was a slow process, but if he could read and understand the entire Deva libraries and their archives, then what was a few small libraries?

“No, no, it’s fine, really.” She tried to assure Allanon yet again as he apologized once more. She hadn’t been hurt, merely startled. She was more worried about him hurting others than upset about her own misfortune... If you could even call it that.

“The library? I believe it’s just a few blocks away from here... But are you really aiming to accomplish such a feat? It’s not one I can frown upon, but it seems like a rather large sum of work... Unless you have been in Hive City for far longer than I have...?”

From the way she dragged him… he felt a need rise within him to speak the truth. And then, her eyes. She looked not at him, but deep within him… into something deep inside of him. Okabe was unsure how to feel about this stranger woman, she was something he had not dealt with up to this point.

“Something tells me from the way you are staring… you do not see a mad scientist, do you?” He pulled himself finally from her grasp before straightening his now rather rugged clothing. “Well then miss, I believe that you no longer wish to speak to that illusion of a man… and I do not blame you for that. Okabe Rintarou, I was dragged to this city very much like you.” 

After rubbing the back of his head a little, the now not so mad scientist decided to explain. “What you saw just now was merely a… an act I made up a long time ago. I perform it and I find it easier to deal with certain things, like being trapped in this place.”

“No... I do not...”

It seemed to be simply that he was an ordinary boy. Not possessed, not mad... Just pretending. But why? She couldn’t comprehend why someone would act like that, at least unless they were trying to scare others... But she didn’t quite feel that was what was going on here.

Even so, the reason he had... It made sense. It was nothing she had ever heard of before, but it made sense.

“...If it is more comfortable for you to speak and act like that, then you may... So long as I know that you are are okay, then I do not wish to restrict you in a way that may make you uncomfortable.”

“...Okabe, was it? Or do you prefer Houi..in..... Kyouma?”

“Whoa, really…?” That sounds very much like the Middle Ages! Yes, Japanese Middle Age was similar to the European one in that regard. Why would Battler have studied European history outside of the most recent things in school?

In any case, imagining a society where education isn’t a duty of the government, but a privilege, irked him off. He sees many people complaining about how humankind is going from bad to worse as time goes by, but honestly, when you consider stuff like that, you see how much it has actually improved with the ages.

“Perhaps being given a notion of what genres there are nowadays might help you? I’m a huge fan of mystery novels, so those are the ones I can give the best recs of, but there’re all sorts of stuff in a bookstore like this! Fantasy, romance, adventure, drama, horror, action, you name the style and there should be a section here!”

“Nowadays there’s even this thing where you can check establishments’ catalogues via digital archives that you can check in computers like that one in the corner. We didn’t have that much of a commodity back in the 80′s, ihihihihihi!”

“Yes, that is the case” she said, not even taking his surprise as weird or rude. She was unfamiliar with this world, so it only made sense for others to be unfamiliar with her own. Of course, some came from similar worlds and times, but by no means were they the absolute majority.

“Knowing what genres there are is certainly a good place to start,” she agreed, before staring at him blankly as he listed off a list of unfamiliar genres. Most of the names were self-explanatory, but she was still a bit surprised at how many there were... Of course, even ‘fiction’ was a word she had only recently learned to use. She was used to calling those kinds of books ‘stories.’

Her blank look carried on as he moved onto describing one of the conveinences of modern technology, but not too long passed before she seemed to understand at least some of what he was saying.

“The 80s? I imagine those are a set of years? Like how we are currently in 2016... So the 80s are from about forty years ago?”

“Aren’t you scared at all?”

Usually, Micaiah wouldn’t approach such a boisterous girl, but she couldn’t help but to worry this time. She was young and likely foolish. Reckless in the face of what was said to outrank even the most powerful beings within Hive City... There was no way she wouldn’t get hurt if she was going to get involved.

And as far as Micaiah could tell, this girl definitely planned to get involved.

“It’s okay to want to help, but if you’re not cautious, then almost certainly... Almost certainly, something bad shall happen to you.” With the contents of the black eggs being unknown, so were many of the possibilities of what could happen as they faced those contents. Death, injury, loss... But what came after that, hardly anyone could know.

“It’s okay to be scared. It’s okay to be cautious...”

Korra hated trains.

She’d much prefer to travel via Naga but seeing as that wasn’t an option, she had no choice but to take the dreaded transport she hated so much. It was crowded, it smelt funny and it was hot. She grew irritated with each passing second and every time someone invaded her personal space, she tried so hard not to start a fight in the middle of their journey.

Luckily, the train pulled up at the station and she breathed a sigh of relief when she exited the horrible, horrible thing. Right, she was looking for Micaiah… silver hair, golden eyes. Unusual, unique enough to stand out… cyan hues skimmed the crowds for a girl of that description then just ahead she spotted someone hesitantly raise a hand to her… or at least she thought it was her.

Silver hair; check. Golden eyes… as she walked closer she could also see that too so… check.

Her grin soon returned and she returned the wave, taking up a quick jog in order to reach her sooner. “Micaiah, right?” She inquired. “Nice to officially meet you!”

“Ah... Korra-!” Micaiah responded with the other girl’s name almost as if on reflex to hearing her own. Of course, she quickly realized that this was the person she had agreed to meet and within a couple of seconds there was a wide smile on her face.

Korra looked different from what Micaiah had imagined, but in a good way. She seemed more friendly, more caring, more kind... Of course, physical appearance was no accurate measure of such traits, but rather the way she carried herself and moved towards the mage was what caught her attention.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you as well! It is Korra, right? I’m not saying it wrong?” There wasn’t really much room to mispronounce the name, but she figured it would be safer to ask than to assume.

“Right stop,” Karen said all of sudden. She felt exhausted and was ready to collapse, but she knew that was something she couldn’t afford to do. For one thing, she may accidentally blow up herself and the others if there was a explosive that hasn’t exploded, not only that, those kids can’t just pull there parents up all on there own.

Good thing her intuition to stop was correct, it was certainly wide enough for the kids’ parents to come out. She went over to the other side of the hole to help the others pull them out.

Micaiah had been hoping to go just a little bit farther, so that they could be certain that there was enough room, but it only took one quick glance at her partner to see that she was approaching her limits.

She hoped it would be okay and after an instinctive use of her foresight, decided that it was. Now certain that it was time to pull the parents out, Micaiah moved to Karen’s side and tried to pull the two out.

It was hard... No, impossible to tell what would come from those shells. Even with the ability to know things that most others would know, that thing was beyond her scope of prediction.

She had been getting used to the metaphorical dark clouds straying away from her foresight, but this... Everything was murky again. Everything.

She wouldn’t say that she was hopeless, but she was definitely in despair. She was dreading whatever might come, and fearing what it might bring.

She knew, without a doubt, that there was no way anyone would be able to defeat what was to come. So, when she saw a young girl approaching with a pair of crossbows at her side...

“You’re here to try and protect this place as well, aren’t you?”

Her voice was unmistakably grim. She would give it her all, but she still knew that the worst was always a possibility... Whatever the worst might be.

“It’s nice to meet you too, Micaiah-san.” ‘As for parents…. about that…’ “Well, as far as I know, I haven’t seen my mom here. So I don’t know if it was just me or…” Or they had gotten separated. Though thinking of his mom did make him feel a little down. he already miss her. Even as a 29 year old adult.

“Ah...” As soon as his face began to drop, Micaiah regretted asking the question. The bonds some people shared with their parents was nothing to laugh at, even if she had never truly felt that kind of relationship herself...

Basically, it wasn’t something she should have brought up so carelessly.

“It’s... It’s hard, I imagine? But if she is not here, then she most likely is safe, so even if you cannot find her here, I’m sure she’s fine.”

【雅】The way she turns is naturally graceful, her hair spinning around in loose curves to frame her face like a curtain of silver moonbeams. Were he in a different frame of mind, Kasen might’ve stopped, and pointed out the beauty of the moment before he killed.

As it was, he kept going, pushed on by the momentum of his chase. It was really a pity that he didn’t have time to pay proper respects. Even an enemy would’ve merited more talk, but as for a sacrifice…well, she was but one of three others, and a quick death was preferred.

He sees her gaze before his sword swipes forward, and wonders–is she frightened? Stunned, perhaps–or even resigned?

But metal meets flesh in the next instant, rendering the questions obsolete as something falls to the ground with a whump.

Today again Death draws nearer… The wildflowers.

(( Uh. Hey. I’m alive. Sorry for vanishing when I owed so much. I got kind of depressed, then I got kind of sick, and once I felt better I for some reason could only focus on making icons? It was weird.

I’m going to try to get to as much of what I owe as possible later today, on all of my blogs here. Sorry for any inconvenience and such. I say later today because it’s currently 4:30 in the morning and I’m only up because my insomnia hates me so. yeah not a prime mental state for writing. ))

The stream of questions was nothing too new to the android, her attention span wasn’t the widest, and something else always caught her attention which caused her to babble on about that.

“Nuh uh, I’m an android! I was made six- seven, seven years ago!” She concluded with a nod. “I’m made of metal and gears and wires instead of blood and organs and bones and stuff.”

Micaiah’s eyes visibly grew wider as Gumi described what she was made out of, and revealed that she was actually far younger than she appeared. Her lips moved wordlessly for a few seconds before she was finally able to ask the question she had in mind...

“And you... Are alright with that?”

Crap. She must think him a mental patient at his this point… well what could he do now?! If he went back to Okabe, then she would most likely think him even more crazed then before. Damn it… maybe Kurisu had a point in toning down the whole demon powers part of his persona. 

“So you were brought here as well? Where do you hail from originally? Is it far from Japan?” Getting an idea of how far these bastard’s influence and power spread was essential in figuring out how hard it would  be to tear them down a few pegs. 

“No…no! I am fine Miss, I assure you! No need to take me away, I promise!” This was getting bad fast.

Ah, he had realized what she had in mind... She tried to make a more convincing smile, but she didn’t even have to see Okabe’s face before realizing that it would be all too obviously fake. Her smile faded as she tried to figure out what she should do next.

Should she grab him and drag him along? No, that almost certainly wouldn’t work... There had to be some way to convince him, however... A bribe, maybe? No, he would likely still know that to be a trap...

She looked around again in search of someone who might be able to help her bring this man to a doctor of some kind.... No-one.

She closed her eyes and called on her foresight... Before blinking a few times and looking at the man with a completely baffled expression. From what she could tell, he was actually sane...? That made absolutely no sense...
