                    ARRIVING TOMORROW AT 12PM EST!

Hello, friends! And with that, we’ve officially released every single teaser for the characters appearing in this upcoming batch of characters. We will officially be opening our doors tomorrow 12PM EASTERN TIME! We will begin posting bios tomorrow, likely beginning with a couple of the ones taken by us admins so as to spread out the release of the taken characters with the release of the open characters. From there we will ( bar any complications, of course ) begin posting the open character biographies two per day. With the release of the main we will also be putting out a talk tag questionnaire, so keep your eye out for that and other fun things! We are so excited to welcome new members into the fold and cannot wait to share this new and improved version of Of Silver Blood with all of you.

You trained yourself to be more than you should, and now they call you Siren — the title of Banshee no longer enough for Archeon’s most renowned songstress. They thought you a fool, your sibling laughing as you declared your ambitions, yet you sang without fear or restraint, finding more to being a Banshee than destruction — you are the salvation. You are loved and treasured, drowning in the tears of your audience and beaming. It’s thrilling, isn’t it? To be such a reckless thing with the world at your feet. Don’t let them get comfortable — softness didn’t bring you the stars.

I was wondering if on the day of the main reveal, one or two bios of the new characters will be published? Or will those be saved for after the main reveal whenever the admin team has the time to finish them?

This hasn’t been hammered out just yet, thanks to awful real life getting in the way for a few of us. However, I am positive that we will be posting some biographies for characters that are already taken, such as my character and some that have been reworked by our old members that are returning. Beyond that, we’re going to schedule based on how much time we need, so we might delay a day to give our finish line a day’s extension. We’ll see! Right now we have a decent amount of biographies done, actually, but our connections are slower because we all have to be present in order to complete them. I promise we will get them out as fast as we can, though, and there will be a lot of other fun stuff to look over in the meantime!

TL;DR: We will have a schedule out on when we post bios and for how many days when the main goes live, but we will definitely be posting something fun on the day the main drops.

are all of your new characters going to be in the first batch? just curious since there's so many returning + new ones

Yes! All characters that have had a teaser posted (or will be posted tomorrow) are going to be released as the first batch of characters. We wanted to make sure there would be plenty of open roles for people to apply for!

What is the rose in a bed of thorns? Where is the beauty in soft things surrounded by iron — little birds wrapped up in bars of steel? You are a contradiction: a young face who doesn’t believe in the ideals of the new generation. You find comfort in the teachings of your mother, on how to act and how to present yourself — and you watch as other women your age tear their dresses and wage war against society, but you are content with filling the place that was carved out for you. You were raised to be a daughter with pursed lips and clasped hands, so you hold yourself together for the sake of your family. You feel safe within your cowardice — girls can’t fall and break if they don’t risk scaling mountains. You are not phased by the expressions that your peers greet you with; you are not hurt by being called the ‘little miss perfect’ that so many laugh at — but there’s more to you than just submissiveness. Although many classify you as a snake in the grass with manipulation as your game, you contented yourself with playing subjugate to your sister’s elevation, always sure of your place and relying on your simbiotic relationship to keep your life easy and comfortable. But the more secrets you gather, the more you begin to understand that swallowing shadows places a target on your back the moment anyone is fast enough to spot you.

are there going to be alt fcs like when you guys were previously opened or are all these fcs set?

The FC’s are set, especially given all of the familial connections, but the characters FC flexibility will be designated at the bottom of each biography. We put a lot of thought into each of the faceclaims so we hope you all like them as much as we do!

You were only ten when your eldest brother got shipped off to war, far too young to truly understand why his goodbye felt so final, too young to understand why he hugged you tighter than usual and told you to look after the others, too young to understand that would be the last time you saw him. Then his ashes came in the mail just a week before they took away the next in line for conscription. That time you understood, and you wailed and you sobbed and you tried to kick the soldier there to take your brother away in the shins. You started with three and now you’re down to one, and you’ll be damned if you let the army anywhere near his delicate hands. You weaseled your way into a palace job and there somehow you made yourself a home. There you’ve been ever since, protecting the one who thinks he’s protecting you, basking in the spare kindness of your rulers. They’re not all bad, you can’t help but think as you lay down in the only bed you’ve ever had to yourself. I could stay here forever.

Is Orion up for grabs since AJ will be bringing in another faceclaim?

No, sorry for the confusion on that! Admin AJ may bring in a second character during the second batch, but will still be playing Orion when we open.

Marble statues are a beautiful sight, standing tall and proud, but art is imperfect — and there are cracks in your being, spiraling out from a hole in your chest. When will you break? You wield your grace like a blade, spinning across polished stone in a dress of white satin, yet you run until your feet burn raw and chapped when no one’s watching. Your world has no limit, and you will never be content existing in one place, as one person. You see uncharted areas and you feel an itch across your skin, looking at where the sea ends and not knowing what’s beyond  — you want to build a boat, so that you can sail across and name every new star that shows you the way. You’ll have it someday: the knowledge of what happens next. Because there has to be something more than this, right? Hide your wings and sharpen your crown; the ground is no safe place for a songbird.

They say men are not meant to be soft, but you laugh it off and say you’re just a boy. You’re youth and exuberance and nervousness packed into a body almost bursting with energy, and sometimes you almost seem to outpace even yourself. There are those who would stop and stare or point out what you’re lacking, but you shake it off, bouncing from embarrassment to curiosity between one breath and the next. There’s an innovative, inquisitive nature to your mind, a kaleidoscope of ideas so bright you should be shining, but the trappings of your society have held you back. The looks in the eyes of others hurt more than you would care to admit, but you know that it’s imperative not to let that stop you. You try to stay positive, but stay kind, but the wear of others’ negativity drags you into the darkness. Not that anyone would notice, seeing you smiling when dawn comes.

Hi! Are there anymore teasers left?

There are! We delayed a little bit due to rescheduling and shuffling some around, but I’ll be posting the first one for today in a moment.

EDIT: In the interest of transparency, real life has gotten in the way for just a bit. I promise we will have all of our teasers out before the main release date, and the main is releasing on time, but the time schedules of things during the day have been changed slightly to fit in some flexibility. out of curiosity, who are your guys mascots and do they mean anything? will you be playing characters with those fc's??

Thanks for a great question! My mascot is Kat McNamara, and I will be playing a character with her FC in the second batch who I am so excited for everyone to meet. Admin Kaitlin’s mascot is Paulina Singer, and she will also be playing a future character with that faceclaim. Admin AJ’s mascot is Keith Powers, and she also has plans to bring in a future character with that FC depending on how the plot progresses. Admin Tris hasn’t released his mascot yet, so we’ll have to leave you hanging there! To be safe, though, I would say that no FC used as a mascot will be used as an alternate for upcoming bios.
