The respect is mutual, tbh. "I love how you shut down that loser without saying a word," ~actual dialogue. And when Fallon calls her up, Arisa's just like, "I'd be delighted, beautiful. Wear something sexy; let's have a little fun with them, first." She doesn't even care what they're doing, where they're going, or who they're screwing, on some level. (This is what it means to be The Destroyer.)

arisa SO EXCITED TO PLOT DEX W ARISA??? mainly b/c i read ur starter cmnt and immediately thought of sherlock/joan??? like she’s the lvl headed one and keeps him in check when he’s being, well, dex lol. she is so BA dex would have wanted to be friends w her the moment he met her? like “hey all my friends are drunk nerds can i chill w u” and after he found out she was supposed to go to jail but didn’t he was like *raises brow* potential accomplice/pickpocket protege??? (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧ sometimes she’ll come home to find him reading some stolen library book on her couch and she doesn’t even flinch or ask how he got into her house??? i’d like to think she gradually got used to/forgave dex for being an imbecile and now they have a bit of a [partnership]??? [them on a monday night] [a thing ppl ask him on the regular] [the accuracy tho] [dex definitely initiates the linking of the arms] [headcannon that the one time dex was put into jail arisa was the one to bail him out]

I feel like there's a constant interrupting of sleep patterns and generally neglect of "boundaries" whenever Dex [ stays ] [ over ]. And alot of [ activity ] bc like why sit still???? "Put something sexy on, Dex, we're going out, tonight," ~Arisa, every night. Plus tons of general [ snark ] Not to mention, [ this ] could def happen. Also, I feel like all of this gives a new meaning to [ this ] which I had already posted as one of Arisa's ~moods WHICH IS BEAUTIFUL. How long do you think they're known each other/been a unit? I mean, obv it's been long enough to have a rapport of some kind (and for him to dump her toaster, her to replace it, and her to dump it too ;DDDDDD)
