“At least try to? There are a few quote unquote bad guys who have reformed actually.” He couldn’t remember names but there were a few. This city has a way of changing people.
“It’s better then fighting everybody to be honest. Why not chill and enjoy some cake and tea instead you feel?”
“...Huh? Cake?”
“...Heh, Fine! I wouldn’t wanna waste my best sheet music on unworthy opponents anyway.” Well, this wasn’t a total lie... She did agree but she mainly just really wanted her sweets right now.

“Huh… Your clothing resembles that of a conductor’s… Are you really one?” Kousei couldn’t help but question as he was passing by the pink haired teen.
“Heh, the greatest one you’ll ever know kid! The strongest one too!” Probably the most sharp-tongued one he’ll ever meet too.
“If its anything like how you were stripped of your things. I’m quite annoyed. But, nothing I can’t improvise. I suppose it wouldn’t be an endurance experiment unless I had next to no equipment and you were in the equation.”
“Stripped of abilities or not, I can still beat your ass in a fight dog! You having not having your precious technology and internet is just as bad as not being supplied with my lollipops, you know!”

The café was pretty, he guessed—but there was something that was wrong. The jukebox was playing some random new crap, which was honestly not Shinji’s style. After some quick button pushing, the music suddenly turned into a very smooth jazz. Now it was perfect, but it seemed someone didn’t really like the sudden change, or at least it seemed like with those eyes that could pierce his soul.
“The hell that look’s for? This is jazz, girl. ‘S cool, y’know? Fits the place and everythin’.”
Jazz? Classic symphony has always been where it’s at for Jakuzure Nonon. Beethoven? Mozart? You name it and she probably had the sheet music for it. After a bit of button pushing herself–it was perfect! That’ll teach these people with god awful taste in music!
Before the pink-frosted cupcake could even reach her teeth, the music suddenly changed into an awful-sounding smooth jazz. Her usual piercing glare went to a man who seem to have changed the song playing.
“Obviously, you have some god awful tastes. Seriously... jazz? You’re dull, aren’t you?”
That shrill voice, the familiar childhood insult… Well. It could only be one person! Turning to the voice, the tailor’s assumptions were confirmed.
“Nonon!”
If course, he used her family name around the other Devas. But together, he could freely use her own name.
“You’re here too! You came at an awful time, you know.”
His expression returned to its usual stoic face, but it was clear in his eyes that Iori was glad to see the band director again.
“Iori Shirou, at your service.”
Her eyes slightly widened at him using her first name–It really had been a long time since they last talked like this... right? After a few minutes of thinking, she regained her posture and the usual smug grin plastered onto her face when talking to most people.
“Heh, nice to see you too again, four-eyes.” She didn’t show it much, but she was actually glad to see the tailor again. But what did he mean by an awful time?
“But seriously, out of all the greetings you could do to a childhood friend... An awful time? What the heck do you mean?”

“Oi, transfer student. How long... have you even been here?”
“That’s a threat I haven’t heard before.” he replied mildly, reaching up to pluck the jar of spices from it’s shelf before handing it out to the pink haired girl.
“Here you go. Do you need anything else?”
“Hm, of course! I’m unlike the other elite four of the school, after all.”
“But... could you get that for me? Those damned scientists didn’t at least supply me with my favorites after bringing me here in this weird ass place, you hear?” She pointed towards a large jar filled with lollipops of different flavors at a rather high shelf.

He’s been watching her struggle to get that jar off the shelf for a while now, too proud to ask anyone else for help. Still, it’s probably a point of contention for her - he knows most shorter folk don’t appreciate being looked down on in any manner, so he doesn’t simply reach up to grab it as he normally would, instead clearing his throat.
“May I help you with that, Miss?”
“For the last time–I can do it myself! Now back off! Jeez! What the heck is it with people and–”
THUMP!
Oh god, she actually fell down and made a rather noticeable sound too. “Fine, fine–No telling anyone about this, clear?! Or I swear to blast you off with Beethoven.”
Interruption (Closed - Jakuzure Nonon)
Tick, tick, tick. The clock in the pale white room that smelt strongly of disinfectant slowly ticked out second after ever-lengthening second. As a whole, Laurent had mixed feelings of this hospital. He was glad his body was getting the chance to rest, yes. Yet…it was so closed off from the outside world, and nobody he knew yet seemed to know he was here.In that respect, that sheer isolation, feeling useless? It was…even worse than the desert he’d been trapped in for five years.
At least there, he could keep searching, feel useful in some way, but right now? He was stuck in a room, stuck in the one spot with nobody to talk to, unable to help. Ack…his head ached again. Worrying about things was doing him no good, but it was…awfully lonesome. All that plain white, giving nothing cheery to the room at all, which didn’t help matters.
He asked one of the nurses to please open a window, to get some air. Maybe watching the sights outside from his bed would give a needed distraction. Yet as he lay in bed, looking out the window that sat next to the bed, it sounded like…someone was making a awful commotion of sorts outside. What was going on?
He called out the window, feeling bewildered.
“Excuse me, but…what is all that noise about…?”
This world, the district she was placed in–It was just all so irritating! The fact that people looked at her as a “nobody” made things even worse. Her cute clothes, her music, her road to her music career–all gone, poof!
To make it even worse–Nonon wasn’t exactly the nicest person you’d know. But she was sure as heck more trustworthy than the gangs wandering in sector 3. She looked small–But heck, she could protect herself.
It took a few bruises–but those training days with Satsuki was all worth it. And as expected from her, she was spouting out curses to herself.
Until... she was interrupted by someone calling out to her.
“Nothing! Just get back to work four-eyes–” she ceased her insult, letting out a small cry of pain. Her arm hurt again... Damn those limits.

“S-Sheesh—I knew that! You didn’t need to tell me anything, four-eyes!” She definitely knew what he said was right, and Matoi taught her that lesson too during their battle. “But seriously... friends with everyone..?”
