After much debate and agonizing, I have been (very slowly) building this multimuse blog to eventually move Rey and other muses (except for Steve, Steve stays on his own). I’ve transferred bios over and pretty much got the general set up, but still need to establish tags and set up everyone’s Nav pages.

This is mostly for my own sanity. I’m suddenly in the mood to RP way more characters than I’m used to, so having them all in one place helps me a lot, not to mention, I can test characters without making an entire blog for them. I don’t really like using side blogs, and the amount of Chrome accounts I’ve had open is seriously crazy (my computer goes so sloooooowwww sometimes). Also, I kind of forget that I need to check a blog, so I have to log out and log in and… yeah, this is just… well, I’m hoping this will be way easier. I will be keeping everyone’s blogs, for sure, but all activity will (eventually) be happening on the multimuse.

Thanks for bearing with me, guys. I hope you’ll follow me over there when I make the move official!

he tries to stop the bleeding, uses the force to sprint faster than he ever could, but he’s still too slow. and he is afraid, of losing her– of losing a piece of himself that has integrated within him in the past five years. their bond is safe, it’s comforting and peaceful. it reminds him that no matter where he goes, he’s not alone. maybe being alone again is what he fears most. a sigh of relief escapes him when he hears her voice, when her eyes open and he feels like he could cry. ❝ damn you, rey! you scared the shit out of me! ❞ his voice is harsh, but there’s a soft tremor to it, that belies exactly how scared he is. ❝ don’t do that to me ever again, you hear me? ❞ another pause– hesitation. he’s finished cleaning the wound, and he gets the gauze out to try and stop the bleeding.and when he looks at her pale face, he’s afraid. afraid of the loneliness that will consume him if she leaves. full lips draw in a thin line as he gazes at her– hesitation, before cupping her face with his hands. ❝ look at me. ❞ his voice is unusually gentle, as he tries to choke back the fear that threatens to consume him. ❝ you… you have to stay with me, alright? stay awake. fight. i… i’ll do my best to help you, i swear. but you have to stay awake, okay? ❞ a pause. ❝ please. i–i have no idea why those troopers attacked me– and by the way, thank you for saving my life –but i have to figure it out, and fast. ❞ ❝ will you help me? ❞ has it really come down to this? the only person in the galaxy that he knows he can trust is rey. and it was strange, putting his faith in a wounded jedi, but he’s always trusted her. she wouldn’t lie to him, right?

His words are hitting her deeper than she ever would have thought--or wanted them. The tone, the almost desperation behind it... it was as if he was some scared little boy afraid to lose something... something he... cared about? She’d seen those memories, whether he’d wanted her to or not, a crying little boy that didn’t know how to live up to the expectation of his family name. It was in those moments, those very private moments, that Rey had felt herself feel for him. That monster... the monster with so many levels to his pain.

Speaking of pain... hers was abating, but whether that was because she was on the brink of death, or for another reason she isn’t sure. But the warm touch of his hands at her face make her feel like she might be alright. It sure doesn’t feel as such...

It hits her, very vaguely, because she’s still very woozy from blood loss, that Kylo Ren was asking for her help. That he was all but begging her to stay, to not give into the exhaustion that was creeping at the corners of her eyes, the blackness threatening to swallow her. And kriff if she didn’t want to fight it, to stay there to listen to the soft, deep sounds of his voice.

“Will you kill me if I attempt to help?” She manages to ask, voice husky and tired. “Like your father...” It’s a low blow, she knows, but she can’t help but reminder herself, more than him, of who exactly he was.

A cough bubbles up in her throat, a spluttering sound that wracks her body, causing bolts of pain to shoot everywhere.

“I’m c-cold...”

How’s she going to help him if she dies right here?

he stands in a field of corpses, of white armor and helmets splattered with red. there is no peace, and the troopers that remain alive know their death is coming, too– firstly, for attempting to kill him. secondly… he glances to the scavenger that lies on the ground, hopefully still alive… for their sake. she had taken a bullet for him. literally. and he had no idea why. he reaches out through their bond– strong even in her state, and reassures her that he’ll be back for her. the knight disposes of the battalion with ease, running back to rey and scooping her up in his arms. a brief glance to the holo that he found on the captain, before he stows it in his robe. he’ll watch it later.

❝ rey. ❞ It’s soft, urgent as he runs deep into the woods where his private ship awaits. ❝ rey, can you hear me? stay awake, please. ❞ he discards his helmet once they’re inside, placing her on a cot and grabbing a medkit. ❝ stay with me. okay? stay with me. ❞ he’s lost too much in the past five years of this war, and he will not lose her, too. ( it’s a strange sentiment to have for a jedi. even stranger, the panic that is searing his flesh and bone. ) ❝ rey!!!!! ❞

Five years. It had been five long years, all passing in a blurry haze. Abandoning Jakku, sweeping adventures across the galaxy... arriving at an island, Jedi training, near completion of training, and the flawless construction of her very own, double-bladed lightsaber. Five years of a war that should have ended a long time ago. And five very long years of a morally corrupt man having a front seat to her inner most thoughts, and she to his.

She will never understand why she did it. Why she jumped in front of a man swathed in the darkest black face marred by a scarred helmet to take a blaster shot meant for him. The force of it knocked her down, sent her flying. Rey is not sure how long she lay there, the bodies of lifeless, white armored stormtroopers falling around her, half on top of her.

The pain was sweeping, completely unlike anything she had ever felt before. No amount of training Master Luke could have put her through could block out the agony. It burned more than she ever imagined it would, and life blood leaked from her, around her, staining all of that white. Time ticked by slowly, head feeling heavy, limbs like lead. Sound was muffled, it was quite strange, but then came the weightlessness, feeling as though she were floating. This was it, wasn’t it? This was the end...

A frantic voice is coaxing her back, fighting through the haze. Sound came rushing back, almost violently. But the young Jedi couldn’t tell if that familiar voice was inside or outside her head.

“K-Kylo...?” She croaked, trying and failing to turn her in the direction of the man’s voice.
