Is nothing more than people in denial, trying to justify their misery. They don't want to admit they are with someone they shouldn't be, and fabricate constructs to explain why they should.

The phrase "opposites attract" is also a false parable, in the exact same vein. It is yet another method of excusing the horrible, and repulsive.

Nostalgia is simply a way for capitalism to exploit you, and nothing more. Nothing can ever bring back the days you lost, and the void within can never be closed with what used to be.

The masses on Tumblr will exhaust their lungs, speaking of the horrors of homelessness, and what needs to be done to solve these atrocities. A noble endeavor, without question.

Then in the next breath, will condemn anyone who lives in a trailer. They will name call and mock, without ever once being the least bit aware of their hypocrisy.

It's just one of the many occasions when a person exposes themselves as morally vacant, only looking for compassion clout.

Holidays Are Draconian

People are miserable around holidays, but they still choose to celebrate them. People dread seeing their family at such gatherings, but still they go.

The generational indoctrination into such things is such a vile construct. To the point these miserable people tell you with a straight face that you are missing out on pleasure, if you don't celebrate.

One almost feels empathy for their utter delusion, but rationality finds it hard to pity those who commit such horrors by their own accord.

If a song you've never heard comes across your path and you don't listen to it, you're saying far more about yourself than words ever could.

You're closed-minded, and routinely cheat yourself out of new experiences. More than likely all your media consumption is spoon fed to you, by various multinational conglomerate. Just another mindless drone within the marketing juggernaut.

Expand your mind, and step away from mediocrity.

How you treat people you don't care for says far more about your character than how you treat the ones you do.

So many people claim to be a nice person, but their basic human decency only extends to those they deem acceptable.

The only reason the phrase "nice guys finish last" exists, is because it was created by people with false illusions of being pleasant. The truth is truly nice people finish quite well.

People sit and blast those on TikTok for spreading misinformation and bad advice, while doing the exact same.

This site is full of people who never read more than a headline, and jump on the outrage bandwagon for something that has never even happened.

The level of projection is quite incredible. Taking their own shortcomings, and directing them at a concept they think they're better then.

I suppose you can't expect any less from people who have never had a moment of self reflection.

No, there has not. You are just exposing that you never read the news, outside of screen caps on social media.

The last "total media blackout" outrage on Tumblr was on most every news website, in great detail. You wouldn't know that though, because you do not know how to consume anything without being spoon-fed.
