I know why the books dont get into it, giving the audience is intended for middle schoolers to highschoolers (and being technically owned by Disney), but like.... there's no way dwarf society doesn't have a bunch of weird slut shaming ideals about Svartalf Dwarves and insist they're inherently promiscuous

I need you to know the exact thought process I've had with this redesign is how much joy Hearthstone would get out of making fashion choices that his father would despise. Which is also what led me to the some what insane thought of what if even his scarf had pricings too

once you think about a Character too much you reach a certain state that i like to call "looney toons understanding" where you just start making posts like this

Forget about torturing your blorbos, putting them through the wringer. I'm putting my blorbo in perfectly ordinary, pleasant situations. Their tortured personality will cause them anguish anyway, making an absolutely mundane scene into the most dramatic, agony filled affair as though the world is ending and it's all their fault

As I'm currently bent over my sketch book remeabering how to draw, I need to put this out there cause its been bouncing around in the back of my head for months.

Blitzstone Cult of the Lamb Au with Hearthstone as Narinder and Blitzen as the Lamb

Instead of fighting over the crown at the end they get married to fillful the two becoming one prophecy

So the backstory for why Hearthstone gets chained up in the afterlife in this AU would be Alderman framing him for killing his brother. Hearth and Andiron would be twins, Hearth as the god of death and Andiron the god of life. Alderman is the god of pure power, and greed, always hungering for more never satisfied.

Alderman had an alliance with Freya (goddess of war), Frey (god of peace), Loki (god of chaos), and his own wife Greta (goddess of wealth). They'd consumed all the other gods that had been around, just like the Bishops in Cult of the Lamb. In his growing hunger he decided to consume his own sons, "Saturn Devouring His Son" style. But Hearthstone caught him in the act, and ran for help before Alderman could kill him as well.

But of course Alderman's word held way more power as the leader of the remaining gods, and it was easy to blame the god of death for the loss of the god of life. But the rest were unwilling to kill him as Hearthstone was still just a Godling at that time, a child, and opt for the "kinder" punishment of just locking him in his own realm and forgetting he ever existed.

Alderman, Greta, Freya, and Loki would go on to become the Bishops in this AU, wiping out the lamb population and Frey, the god of lambs as well as the god of peace, along with them.

(He'd fill Yngya's role, not actually dead and coming back later)

Freya is of course still Blitzen's mother in this AU, and betrays him by handing him over once all the other lambs are gone, despite promising his father she'd protect him. But of course she only played right into fates hands and spelled her own doom with such a deep betrayal.

do you write fanfiction?

Its less that I write fanfic and more that I occasionally get possessed with the need to read a specific story about Blitzstone that doesnt yet exist. Like currently working on a crossover fic where they exist in the MHA universe despite my unending hate for MHA as both a show and a Manga. Why? Its unclear my brain does what it pleases.
