*On a walk in Echo when he comes across a young man and his animals. He very quickly approaches one of the cows with wide eyes* Oh! She's so cute! Is she yours?

“Technically she isn’t mine but she is up for sale, if you’d like.” Giving back a rather bored answer, Neil didn’t have much business that day…Well more like as usual. Not really surprised at the others interest, he stood at the wooden counter as usual, attempting to somewhat make a sale.

“Wow! Really?” Kevin’s face lit up. He reached his hand out to pat the cow on the head, laughing softly. “How much is she? I don’t have many cows at my ranch, and my horses could use another friend!”

“I’m NOT AT ALL SORRY for the confusion sir.” Sofia sighed, absolutely mortified it took her so long to figure out the communication issue.

As she stuffed the note back into her pocket she spotted him relax a bit, but only a tiny bit.

“I-It’s okay, miss.” Kevin’s eyes darted around, still keeping his vision to the floor. He figured it’d be polite to try and start a conversation. It’s only right, after all, with him having acted so rudely. Not that one could help having a phobia, but that didn’t stop the guilt from getting to him.

“U-Umm... Where are you... W-Where are you from?”

*Eating some ice cream on his porch*

I wonder if I should go out more... It’s hard being so timid, I guess...

*Stroking his horse Jeffery gently, Kevin sighs as an expression of relaxation* Ah, I’m glad to be back home. As much as I love my grandma, I’m always happy to come home to see you. *Laughs lightly*

Sofia tilted her head, wondering what was wrong with the poor man. Then it hit her. Her speech. Her eyes widened and she frantically dug through her pocket and drew out the note from Trent that she had used upon meeting Klaus, the one that explained her odd speech pattern.

She handed the note to Kevin with a slight nod and a sigh.

Kevin uncovered his eyes just a little once he heard the crumple of paper, just enough to get a peek at what the note said.

“O-Oh... Ah, opposites, huh?”

"Oh! Could I do something to SCARE you?" Sofia smiled, keeping her distance. Obviously it wouldn’t be easy to comfort the poor man but boy would she try!

Kevin shook his head at a rapid speed, still not getting that there’s something off about this woman’s speech habits. He’s just too scared to even think about that.

“N-No! I... I-I don’t like being scared... s-so...”

"Hey!~" The dancer said with a wink passing by.

The nervous farmer responded with a shaky wave.

“H-Hi... Selena.”

"Why is your hair have a strand that sticks out like that?"

*Nervously hides himself behind a bench* U-Um... i-it’s natural. M-My parents have their own s-so... I think it’s g-genetic?

He looked down at the ground, still covering his face. “J-Just a… a phobia of mine…”

Sofia thought for a moment then smiled brighter once again. “Is there something I could do to IMPEDE PROGRESS in dissolving your phobia?” She asked in a sweet manner as to not frighten the terrified man further.

Kevin leaned back, confused.

“H-Huh!? U-Ummm... I actually w-would like to not be so scared... I-It just... takes time, I guess...”
