Hello everyone! I am Karim El Najjar from Gaza. My family is 5 people: my father, mother, my two little sisters, and me.
During the war on Gaza, we lost our home and had to leave with only a few things. Now we are living in an empty area with other families, but we don’t have a tent and sleep outside. We have no running water, and we have to wait hours to get a little for drinking. There is no electricity and no place for my sisters to feel safe.
Life is so difficult now. I just want help so we can have a tent and basic things to live, for me and my family. I want my sisters to have some safety again. Whatever you can give will mean a lot to us.

From Gaza to Europe: A Young Girl's Dream Finally Coming True!
Vetted by Mahmoud khalaf here.
Before the genocidal war on Gaza, I was immersed in the university life and enjoying studying English literature at the Islamic University in Gaza (IUG), which was utterly destroyed by Isr*ael. They desroyed the place which helped me find my passion in this life: performing on stage in English.
My family and I have been displaced multiple times and we ended up now in a tent that does not protect us from any bullets, shrapnel or the cold and rain of winter. I have never thought I would have to live such hellish conditions at the age of 20, an age at which I was expecting to be studying at university and enjoying the company of my friends like any other girls my age around the world!!!
Amid the pain, horrors of war and many near death experiences, luckily, I was awarded a scholarship to do a BA in English Language and Literature at Mary Immaculate College in Ireland. A glimmer of hope shone in my sky, happiness rushed strongly through my veins, and a voice within me roared: "A unique destiny awaits you, Sarah. Seize this opportunity, honor your people abroad, and use your talent to tell the world about Palestine and touch their hearts."
Read more about the scholarship here.

I am literally at a crossroads at this stage in my life. I could keep running from a place to another with my family searching for safety and wasting years of my life without education. Or, you could help me evacuate with my family to Egypt and then go to study at Mary Immaculate College in Ireland.
Please do NOT decide to look away and send my only opportunity for a good education go with the winds. Please boost my campaign by:

Tumblr is steadily deactivating or shadowbanning Palestinians. Just now I realized @mohammedkhaledalkhaliku has gotten shadowbanned or something similar because I see them on my dash reblogging from me but I do not see them in my notes.
Yesterday I came to know Haneen's blog got deactivated.
The more the days go by, the more I see post after post of Gazan blogs getting deactivated.
Tumblr is slowly but steadily nuking blogs or making it difficult for Palestinians to reach out to bloggers on this site. They are already communicating with us, using the limited data from the esims: so now to harass them in this way-forcing them to make new blogs, making them waste their data, when they are in constant danger of being bombed or of being shelled, when they are hungry and tired, when they have to live in tents under the summer sun...it is simply inhumane.
Please help Mohammed, Sahar and Tala to evacuate.

I'm sorry if you're tired of thinking about ofmd and that whole mess but goddamn... it's incredibly painful to see so many people trying to set up fundraisers to get their families out of gaza and the sudan and desperately trying to get their loved ones to safety, I've seen so many and everyday I check to see how much progress they've made, most of them still haven't hit their goal. It hurts to see people rally around a tv show and raise all this money for a billboard, and it's very frustrating to see how people have reacted to this criticism. Like bro tv shows get canceled sometimes there's more important stuff going on
Someone else said it better but to see a fundraiser for tv show renewal advertisements raise $20,000 in less than a day while it takes days/weeks/months/years/never for fundraisers for actual causes that help real people in need reach a goal of less is absolutely dystopian and shameful
