RuPaul Is Wrong

if you have ever seen drag race you know that at the end of the show RuPaul says, “if you can’t love yourself how in the hell can you ever love anybody else.” RuPaul is wrong. Loving yourself is hard especially so when you have never loved yourself, but loving people is easy. If you love someone you don’t need to love yourself because loving someone else is selfless and they can make you forget that you don’t love yourself. people are important and so is love but loving someone else can help you find your self love

Word Barf

Sometimes people say things that get misinterpreted. I, myself, am guilty of not only saying things out of order but also accusing people of saying things. Word barf can be a hard thing to apologize for, but it must be done. If you have been called out on your words or if you have called someone out, take a second glance before getting upset. We all learn our lessons. I have to learn some of them the hard way.

Alt-J is Perfect

Alt-j is so impressive. They find a way to transform very explicit content into some of the most beautiful sound you have ever heard. How can someone sing of an ecstasy trip so beautifully and so softly that it makes your entire body feel as if it is at ease. (Dissolve Me) She makes the sound the sea makes knee deep in the North Sea.

Why do people get so offended by romantic rejection? Its understandable that this person is not into you the way that you are into them but if between the two of you there is something that would supposedly be good enough to form a relationship then why not be friends? You may have been rejected but instead of making it awkward how about you make the best friendship two people could have together? Just a thought.

My Anxiety Gives Me Anxiety

For anyone who lives with an anxiety disorder, you know that anxiety is not just being nervous. It's constantly being self-contained and self conscious about every little thing you say or do. Anxiety makes it almost impossible to function properly as a member of society. If you are afraid to talk to people they think you are bitchy or rude and if you do talk to people you are afraid that every single thing you ever say is wrong or offensive. Anxiety is a constant battle of why did I or why didn't I do that and stress about the future and how people perceive you. There is no cure and no matter how many times people reassure you that they enjoy your company it is nearly impossible to believe them, but sometimes it is okay to be not okay. We have to learn to accept with what we have been given and those of us that are strong enough will move forward even if we have to go alone.

Spirited Away and the Second Release

2016 has been an absolute crap of a year, but in the midst of this chaos we are being presented with a gift. Studio Ghibli’s movie Spirited Away is going to be re-released in theaters! Thank God for Miyazaki.
