What is your interpretation on the Sun in the 1st House Overlay in Synastry? Thank you so much :) Hope you have/had an amazing New Years!
Hey there!! 💕💕💕 Sorry for replying so late but I love Sun in 1st House Synastry!! 💕💕💕 ☀️

I've reached the Saturn conjunct Ascendant point in my journey where I'm telling myself "I can't keep doing this alone."
I've been in deep thought with my Saturn placement for several days and it's been healing.
One thing I am starting to appreciate is the slowness of Saturn. I can't escape it because I have 7 planets in my chart that are ruled by this one aspect.
It used to bother me that things would happen so slow for me, but things happening slow for me help me truly integrate change & figure out what I want in the way that feels safe to me.
I love that with Saturn, once I understand the lesson, I am guaranteed not to run into it again.
The Leo-Aquarius Axis & the Fan-Idol Dynamic
Context of these thoughts: In the summer, I met two kpop idols in public while they were "off duty" and that event alongside the Full Moon in Aquarius that happened a few days later triggered thoughts on fan-idol dynamics and celebrity culture. Since then, it has completely changed my idea on being a "fan" and perceiving famous people. Personally, I have an 11th house/Aquarius stellium, 10th house placements, and a 5th house Leo moon... so,**trust me bro** LOL, I mean I naturally am always thinking about these things. Anyway, let's get into it. Most of the these thoughts were shared on my personal IG during the full moon in August. ________________________________________
People don't want to meet their idols because they don't want to break that illusion and their projections of them because it's more fun that way (?). That is, until you realize something is off about your behaviour towards a literal stranger that just so happens to be famous/put on a pedestal. What's crazy is that some people do this with non-famous people too (not that is it any better or worse, but in the case of the kpop industry thriving on parasocial relationships, it is important to note), deluding themselves in ideas of others without ever interacting or just refusing to see reality.
These thoughts are easier to put into perspective because I'm the same age as these idols I met. Like wow, that could literally be my friend or old classmate.
This fame and the fact that they're famous entertainers is just a fraction of their life, their job. Meanwhile, some fans think that their broadcasted image is a full embodiment of them; especially in the kpop industry, where fans are bombarded with tons of new media. Aside from interviews, new albums every season, variety and reality shows --the list goes on... many kpop groups also have specific apps that cater to interacting with fans. There is so much media that as a fan, you rarely feel like you are out of the loop... or so it seems. And it isn't to say that you are obligated in any way to keep up with kpop idols, but it's easy if you have codependency issues or any other mental health issues. It's also easy to sell (fake) love, relationship, and connection --aspects that are important and essential to humanity; and all presented via pretty people. Wow! Anyways, It always confused me the way some fans treat grown up kpop idols like they are babies... you aren't a PR manager and these idols also anticipate the loss of privacy and the blur of fantasy and reality.
It's also significant to note that physical/spatial dynamics, such as idols standing on a stage, or who are illuminated/in the spotlight while you are not, fuel the fan-idol dynamic. The power dynamics transcend differences in how much money you have or how an idol's overall life is publicly broadcasted, and often not as a choice. So when I met the idols, I think what triggered me even more to think about fan-idol dynamics is that they were "off-duty," and I was towering over them while they were sitting. Honestly, it was a bit embarrassing because I realized they are just some people. While the interaction itself was more or less calm, I was so nervous (and I realized later, for what?!) One of them, whose publicly broadcasted persona is also high-energy, was not like that at all when I met them too, so I was taken aback. Not in an "Oh, that's disappointing" way but in an "Oh... I see" (and now I'm writing this post) way.
Celebrity culture (or specifically kpop stan/fan culture) is so interesting. There will always be a sense of unreachability, but the downside is feeling lonely because others are blinded by what you project (Leo; such as your energy, your words, etc.). It reminds me of when I told my friend "I sometimes wish I could trust myself the way you trust me with myself" because lately I've been living differently (Jupiter is transiting my 1st house) and asking "Am I good?" almost like I'm asking myself if it's okay to live my life. The support is there, but there is a disconnect, and there might always be unless you are actively bringing attention to the relationship between you and them. So fans feel like they know their idols because of these manufactured interactions and pressure to keep an image (Leo). The boundary between real and not real blurs, and that's where the business happens.
Too much praise can quickly turn into enabling behaviour, and that's where Aquarius is needed to remind others of human nature and how it's imperfect. Aquarius also represents detachment (as they are an air sign) so I can see how that represents fame as well, because famous people are socially and (sometimes) economically on a different level (just to name a few stark differences) than the majority of fans.
Aquarius energy can also manifest as being able to get along with all sorts of people, but also feeling like you don't belong. And that's very celebrity culture, the way they are revered by many but at the end of the day, they're still left with their thoughts and perhaps working in solitude. Aquarius is still ruled by Saturn and I see that they may sacrifice parts of themselves for the greater good and for collaborative purposes. It explains why celebrities feel conflicted in being themselves (Leo) if it means damaging their reputation (Aquarius/Leo) ... because it could also mean losing support (Aquarius).
All this to say, please don't idolize anyone. Be mindful of this axis and how it plays out in fan culture. It gets weird if left unchecked. Actually, I DARE you to meet your idols to see how much you are different/alike. The line is less opaque than you think.
Synastry this, synastry that.
It’s so interesting reading about synastry when every house is a relationship house.
I also feel like those posts on compatibility take away the focus on what you actually want in relationships (which can and does change). In my greatest relationships, 8th house and 12th house synastry was involved and I credit that to my personal relationship with myself. I don’t carry any personal placements in Scorpio or Pisces, but one of my tightest aspects is Moon trine Pluto (this analysis is more nuanced than this, but this is just an example). I savour deep connections because I interact with myself in that way. The point is that while it can technically, astrologically, be easier to interact with someone whose planets fall into the mercurial/3rd/6th/11th houses, they often leave me feeling like something is missing. It’s a little boring and too surface level for me.
So that’s when you look deeper into your Venus sign, your Moon, etc. Looking for sign compatibility is a waste of time if you don’t even know your love languages (not the literal system necessarily) and what you want and need.
Transit (Rx) Saturn in near exact conjunction to the ruler of my profected year (Mars) has me really frustrated with the apparent progress of my goals. It’s so easy to hate on myself for not living the life I thought I'd be living at this point in my life but I'm breathing through it.
The upside is that I'm really honing it on what I actually want. This is not my first rodeo with the malefics and I know better than to act on impulse. Saturn is teaching me to be patient and look clearly ahead before jumping into something because longevity is a priority now.
What is your big three?
capricorn sun, aries rising, leo moon 🥸
Astro Observations: Leo
Society is so mean to them and for what???
I have more of a roast for Leos (and mind you that I have a Leo moon so I am roasting myself too).
To Leos:
Your Ego… can really make or break your relationships… and you know what? Part of why your relationships suck is also your fault…. (I’m sorry Leos this was literally the theme of my life from 2020-2021 and I’m also a Leo myself so plz take this with love)
I think Leos are prone to victimization so much more than the other signs because they’re natural givers (they’re ruled by the Sun and the Sun = light = hope).
But the thing is that Leos can feel this sense of entitlement... because they give so much, they know that they deserve to have their needs met too (and most of the time… without properly asking others to fulfill these needs). Because Leos just are, they assume others just are as well. Leos… not everyone’s first instinct is to make others feel good/comfortable/consider you. So it’s your job, not theirs, to draw the boundary between give and take.
Leo placements, you’re not as great as you think you are if you’re being dishonest in your relationships. That “I’m doing them a favor” attitude is not it… your relationships with others aren’t parasocial…. and the thing is that’s not even what you want!
You want community so bad but refuse to work with others because you approach relationships by dominating them (as Amber, the Quietest Revolution said in the mid-August Leo reading 2022) by being “the caring one,” “their only friend,” etc.
For a sign that’s ME ME ME, you should know that a lot of your personality is made up of your relationships with others. I think when Leos start giving their friends/community the same attention they give themselves, they start to feel better about themselves because that’s where collaboration happens.
Leos...
No one wants to see you hate on yourself. Not at all. You're still the brightest person in the room and give people joy and you're fun to be around.
It's in the acknowledgement that you are both the product of people who encourage and uplift you alongside your drive to be the positive, giving light.
Let others onto the podium with you... you can just make it bigger.
Like Cancers, you give me life and I appreciate your presence. Also, sometimes people do suck and it's not your fault.
Astro Observations: Taurus
Taurus Moon
Probably a skilled cook/baker, probably fantasizes of being or are actually chefs
The type of people that think everyone else is moving too fast and overreacting because they trust that there’s a time and place for everything
“It is what it is” personified
(General)
These are the plant people
The people who have strict routines and splurge on self-care; things like scented lotion, getting their nails and hair done regularly, etc. (those are also Libra/Venusian things 100%)
They’re so chill that they might come off like they’re on something… but then you get them mad and it’s like ‘Oh where did this come from?’ LOL and it turns out they’re just very grounded (too grounded… fixed earth LOL I wouldn’t wanna fight with them; they can be stubborn)
Satisfying the senses is very valuable to Taureans. For example, they might be inclined to invest in expensive fabric because it feels better to them or they may acquire a defined palate (ie. only eat organic). If you want someone that knows quality, get you a Taurus!
My old tweets on the North Node in Taurus and the Rise and Fall of Aesthetic Cafes (to emphasize Taurus and Taste):
Astro Observations: Sagittarius
Sagittarius Sun
They love trying new things! Adventurous souls. They also deeply value freedom and seek what that term means to them, both internally and externally.
Sagittarius Rising
Sagittarius Risings are the most tame of the fire risings… maybe I see their sidereal Scorpio LOL
So easy to talk to, which is great because it means they’re open to almost everything (that’s the Jupiter energy)
A lot of Sag risings are tall or they have long legs
Generally positive people, but it can be a hindrance sometimes and make them almost self-deprecating? I feel like that’s something they don’t tell others though. I’m just thinking about how Gemini is their sister sign and Geminis are also so unserious.
Sagittarius Venus
I feel like all fire Venuses always have people crushing on them… but Sag Venuses in particular might be attracted to people who come from different cultures/foreigners
Unhinged in love but once they choose to settle, they’re pretty much in it 5ever
Astro Observations: Libra
Libras socialize with others via relation so if you don’t like them, take a look at yourself because they’re probably mirroring a part of you that you don’t like
It’s actually pretty scary because you can walk around not knowing who your Libra friend really is because they move through life like a chameleon almost… that’s also a probable cause for an identity crisis at some point in their life… they are huge people pleasers (but don’t take it for granted and actually work with them #stop taking from Libras today!!!)
@ Libras People should respect your boundaries, but they're so used to you being kind and understanding (Venus) without knowing your sister sign is Aries and when no one listens, that Martian energy comes out and then people blame you for acting out (gaslighting you) when they should've seen you from the start.
You are the personification of "being kind is a strategy" (Waymond from EEAAO) and I hate how the world takes that for granted.
@ non-Libras, Libras are more than their beauty and kindness... yes, they probably should learn how to better communicate their needs and boundaries, but stop taking them for granted!! You don't want to see their other side. They're also meaner than they let on LOL but it's mostly all out of love.
Astro Observations: Aquarius
Aquarius Moon
Probably had an unusual upbringing and learned to cope with the chaos that is life (more chaotic than others)
Deals with emotions by making jokes... or tries to rationalize feelings
Personification of 'UNSERIOUS' when it comes to mushy gushy feelings; like the type of people that caption their relationship posts like "you're a poop, I love you" something like that LOL although behind the scenes, it's more like "I would take a bullet for you and your family" though
Aquarians know what's trending before you do... they're progressive and forward-thinking; (personally) love talking to them because of this
People love listening to them because their dreams are hopeful but also rooted in reality (Aquarius is ruled by Saturn after all)
They can be weird, but as someone with Aquarius placements, I welcome that. I love people that stand out (everyone does, but Aquarians are out of this world in the best way)
