Luca x Alberto Prompt #86
Alberto works hard and never asks for anything special for himself out of fear of being a burden on others to the point they might leave him. That is, until Luca is in town. He's the only person Alberto ever completely opens up to and, also, the only one he can fully relax around and ask things of.
One night, Alberto stands by awkwardly as Luca reads in a recliner, shifting his weight from foot to foot and unsure how to ask for what he wants. Luca finds it endearing, since the older boy has gotten a few inches taller and more muscular than himself over the years. He gestures for him to come over to where he's sitting and Alberto just sort of curls into Luca's lap. He's heavy, to be sure, but Luca doesn't mind. He pets gently at Alberto's curls and asks him how his day was. After Alberto doesn't want to talk anymore, Luca returns to reading and they sit in contented silence while Alberto lays his head against Luca's shoulder.
