you hid it pretty well when you both started going out and things were getting serious (not wanting to scare him with the ‘oh btw i’m your biggest stan’ thing)

one day, you were at their dorms and absentmindedly went on twitter

you were just scrolling and liking tweets from heeseung fansites and whatnot

what you didn’t realize was heeseung standing behind you, watching you draft a tweet

he thought this was hilarious but cute at the same time and couldn’t hold in a giggle

wide eyed, you turned around and immediately tried defending yourself with whatever came out of your mouth

he lets out the loudest cackle and you realized he would never let you live this down

“so y/n, what’s your twitter username?”

“you’re not going to find me”

(he ends up finding your account that night and continues to pull up your old tweets to tease you)

you’ve followed enhypen since their iland days, so you were an og stan

every episode, you voted for jay since you loved his drive and personality

fast forward a year, you met jay at a cafe and hit it off immediately

you still had all your enha merch so you had to hide them when he came over to your house

he walked into your room, everything was going well

until you realized the jay photocard that was in a clear frame, still sitting atop your desk

your eyes widened for a split second but kept calm just in case jay saw you

his eyes trailed around your room, but ultimately landing on the photocard

he walks over and picks it up, a smirk already forming on his face

“am i your bias?”

you could only sheepishly nod

“if you would’ve told me earlier, i could’ve given you all my photocards”

“oh my god. why didn’t i??? i spent so much money buying and trading”

jake

you’ve known jake since he went to school with you in australia

back then, he knew you liked kpop, more specifically, your love for bts

suddenly, he disappeared and you didn’t see him for the longest time

you continued on with your life, finding yourself in korea for university

this was the best thing that could’ve happened to you, now surrounding yourself with easier ways to buy albums (maybe not for your bank account but who cares)

all over twitter, you saw that bighit was going to have a survival show to debut a new group, you were so excited and immediately followed the account

looking at all the contestants’ profiles, you took a long pause at jake’s, he seemed so familiar

upon watching the episodes, you realized it was the same jake back in australia

honestly speaking, you fell for jake and his charm

after he debuted in enhypen, you made it your goal to support him in every way possible

one day, you got a text message from an unknown number

‘hey, this is jake. is this still y/n’s number?’

‘yeah! hey jake! long time no see, how are you?’

that one text turned into something more

now that you guys were dating, he would always ask if you had a bias in enhypen

‘come on, you had to have a bias’

‘fine. it was you.’

he finally got it out of you and he ran around the whole dorm screaming ‘I’M THEIR BIAS! TAKE THAT BOYS’

(they didn’t care, they already knew you biased him as soon as he introduced you to them)

if you were being honest, you didn’t really stan enhypen until you heard given-taken

once you saw a boy with the cutest fangs, you knew it was game over

following them on twitter, instagram, youtube, weverse, everywhere

you tuned into every vlive, online concert, even attending a fansign once

getting to know sunghoon was a coincidence, you were just walking down the street and he came up to you bc he thought you were cute

you still had some enhypen merch in your room, but he knew you were a fan of them

one day, when you were at work, he came over to wait for you

he was just looking around your room until he stumbled across a journal with a bunch of stickers around ‘my bias’

curious, he opened the journal and there were journal spreads on only sunghoon and professing your love for him

the most surprising thing to him was the dates written on each spread, dating back to before you guys met and you attending a fansign

as you walked in the door, you saw sunghoon nose deep into your journal

‘uh. what are you doing’

he always had a feeling that you were sunoo biased

he always caught you hiding things in your room and thought it was weird

he got really confused when you started getting up and taking things out

you handed him a stack of posters, photocards, merch, even his own birthday merch

sunoo’s eyes just widened, he couldn’t really say anything besides stare at the stack in his arms

“i’m sorry for hiding it, pls don’t hate me. i promise i’m not crazy”

he looked up and just smiled at you

“you could’ve just told me, i think it’s adorable!! come here i need to squish your cheeks”

you loved supporting jungwon in everything since the beginning

he was out on a schedule so you had a day to yourself

his birthday was near, so you took a risky move and went to one of his cupsleeve events

just in case people asked, you had an enhypen pin on your shirt

good thing all these fans didn’t know that y’all were dating

you ordered every drink and dessert, just to get all the freebies

you took pictures of the whole cafe and a fan came up to you to give you even more photocards

there wasn’t really a place to put everything away, so you ended up placing the extra photocards in your phone case

after finishing, you started walking home

suddenly, you felt someone nudge your shoulder and you looked up in surprise

“hi y/n! i found you walking by yourself so now i’m here!”

you smiled at him but realized you had a handful of the cupsleeve event merch

you tried to keep his eyes away but he ultimately saw

“what’s in your hand? do you want me to carry it for you?”

“oh nono it’s okay i can carry it!!!”

being the gentleman he is, he still ended up carrying it for you

he took one look at the pile and immediately raised his eyebrows

as you tried to cover it, your phone was in your hand

you flashed the photocards in your phone case and he started laughing

“why didn’t you bring me with youuu i wanted to go to my own cupsleeve event”

you looked surprised and just answered

“fine. just bc you didn’t make fun of me, i’ll take you to one tomorrow”

you’ve been a fan of niki since he was young

when i say young, i mean shinee kid performer young

you were around the same age as him, so seeing a kid your age performing at the biggest stadium in japan was absolutely mind blowing

you followed all his social media accounts and even attended one of dance shows when your family traveled to japan for vacation

he disappeared suddenly and you were confused where he went

the next time you saw him was on tv, a new survival show called iland

you cheered him on and voted for him, even though people hated on him for being a kid (curse evil editing)

before the second part started, you decided to get some fresh air at the park in the evening

there you found a boy, sitting by himself, almost hidden away under the slide

your parents have always told you ‘stranger danger’ but this time it felt different

as you got closer, you realized he was crying

“hey, are you okay?”

he looked up and his eyes were completely swollen

you honestly didn’t even care that you were meeting your idol at this point, you just wanted to make sure he’s okay

he was immediately drawn to you, for some reason he trusted you

exchanging numbers and talking some more, your relationship blossomed

you wanted to tell him that he was your biggest idol when you were younger, but you didn’t have a way of saying it without being weird

one day, you just said yolo and did it

as soon as he heard ‘riki jackson’ he sprinted out

you just started laughing and he came out of hiding doing a full on michael jackson show in front of you

summary: watching the new ‘polaroid love’ performance, you couldn’t hold back from seeing how cute jungwon was! however, one boy in particular was not too happy about that

a/n: andddd i’m back! thank you for being so patient :) i’m in my last month of high school and am headed off to college soon! anyways, this was completely based off of me showing my cousin and sister the genius version of ‘polaroid love’ for the first time and as soon as jungwon came on the screen, my cousin said how cute he was, unprompted. so i decided to write this with my other bias hehe i hope you enjoy!

“IT’S OUT!” you screamed from the living room.

a scatter of feet, maybe some falls and tumbles, seven boys ran to your voice.

“i’m putting it on the big tv so i can see your ugly faces in HD.”

a chorus of ‘hey’s ‘i’m not ugly’ ‘you actually suck’ rings from the boys.

they all sat down on the couch, leaving niki, sunghoon, and heeseung on the floor. yeah, they were the tallest of the bunch but their long legs couldn’t fit with eight people on it as well.

the video starts off with them walking into frame and sitting in their chairs.

“you guys are trying to be cool. cringe.”

“shut up y/n, i’m trying to listen to my beautiful voice,” jake says to without taking his eyes off the screen.

jake starts singing and you can’t deny it, his voice is beautiful.

“OKAY JAY, GET IT!”

jay starts laughing with a bit of embarrassment but kept watching.

“nahhh why does sunghoon look like a jock that would’ve bullied me in high school.”

sunghoon was sitting on the floor under you and looked up with an angry look on his face. “yeah, i would’ve. band kid.”

heeseung hits those high notes and niki goes wild.

“WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO”

poor jungwon, his ears again.

sunoo shows off his cuteness again.

“SUNOOOOOOOO” you scream, squeezing the life out of him.

the chorus starts and you thought to yourself i’ll never get tired of this song

niki hypes himself up, “THAT’S ME! I’M SO GOOD”

jay rolls his eyes and grabs niki in a bear hug. “yes you are niki.”

as soon as jungwon’s part popped up on the screen, the first thing that came out of your mouth was, “oh my god. jungwon you’re so cute.”

“oh. thanks y/n”

the video paused. you looked over to see sunoo holding the remote. he had the cutest pouty face.

“hey, i’m cute too!”

you hugged sunoo tight and comforted him with baby talk.

“oh yes, you’re the cutest out of everyone. even jungwon.”

you could feel sunoo smiling and giggling in your shoulder. once you let go, he had the biggest smile on his face and pressed play on the remote.

he looked over at the boys and stuck his tongue out at them. “i win,” and continued watching the video. the boys gave him a weird look and shrugged their shoulders, then continued watching as well.

forever and always, sunoo will be the cutest.

it’s finally the last period of school. you might not exactly like english class but this one boy makes it all worth it. yang jungwon, his name was. you haven’t even spoken a word to him before but for some reason, his presence gives you peace. you really hoped he didn’t see you staring at him across the classroom. you always noticed all the small things about him. like how he only used this specific rilakkuma pencil to take tests and how he only sneezed in his left elbow, never his right. sighing, you diverted your eyes back to your paper. if only he wasn’t just a stupid crush.

“i’m home!” jungwon shouts as he walks through the door.

he takes off his shoes and you do the same. his mom is on the couch in the living room, just watching a show. as soon as she saw you, she jumped up and gave you a big hug.

“y/n!! i’ve missed you so much!”

she messes with jungwon’s hair and says, “this one doesn’t bring you here enough. maybe i’ll replace him with you.”

you laugh and jungwon starts pouting.

“mom~~ i’ll bring her around more often okay, i promise.”

“you better. have fun, kids!”

she went back to her spot on the couch and both you and jungwon headed to his room.

the first thing you did was lay on his bed. what? it’s so comfy. you let out a big sigh as your back hit the comforter.

jungwon laughs and proceeds to do the same, lying down next to you. there was silence, only the sounds of breathing were heard. it wasn’t uncomfortable. it was peaceful. jungwon ends up closing his eyes.

you looked at him, studying his face. he really is so pretty. you didn’t realize your face was just centimeters away from his. out of nowhere, he opens his eyes, widening as he realizes how close you actually were. you panicked and sat up quickly, honestly almost giving yourself whiplash in the process. your cheeks started to redden and suddenly you were just so hot.

jungwon was still flabbergasted. cheeks warm and a smile creeped up on his face. he sat up next to you and grabbed your hand that was slightly trembling.

“y/n. look at me.”

you were still embarrassed but nonetheless, you turned to face him. he looked at you like you were the most precious thing. his eyes glittered, an even bigger smile appeared.

“let me start off with this. y/n, you were really my best friend. i loved every moment we’ve spent together. we’ve seen each other grow and we didn’t turn out too bad.” he chuckled as he said the last line, with you playfully hitting him.

“you’ve helped me become the person i am today. i know we’ve fought and i still regret every nasty thing i’ve done or said to you. i’m so glad we were able to come together again. from the start, i was always pushing down this feeling. the feeling of holding your hand, going on a date, treating you like mine. i didn’t understand why i was feeling this way.”

your heart thumps quickly. is he? confessing?

“but now, i know.”

his other hand slowly goes to your cheek. without a second thought, your faces get closer until you felt the touch of something soft on your lips. i know this might be cliché, but you felt nothing but sparks. he tenderly kissed you for what seemed like forever, you were on heaven. as you pulled away, he placed his forehead on yours and muttered the words,

“you suck, but i love you.”

chapter fourteen: the date

a/n: maybe this is based on a lil date i went on with my bf hehe,, also thank you for being so patient!! college acceptance results are coming out one by one and i’m slightly stressed about those but so far i have 1/6 that i’ve applied to :) i really do hope 2022 will be a great year for everyone!

honestly, jungwon didn’t really have a “plan” for this date. he thought you would’ve rejected him. during the rest of the class, he was frantically thinking of ideas. something struck him, the perfect idea.

“you ready?” holding his hand out.

you looked down and smiled as you grabbed his hand with yours. “of course!”

you both were walking along, swinging your intertwined hands. as you make your way to a large building, jungwon puts his hands over your eyes.

“okay, trust me. i won’t kill you, i’m guiding you in.”

you chuckled and followed his voice.

inside, it was loud. a little warm too. jungwon finally opens his hands and your eyes adjusted to the bright lights. looking around, you realized where you were.

“roller skating? i’ve been wanting to go for so long!”

wasting no time, he drags you by the wrist to the roller skate rental to get your skates on. as soon as you got them on, you couldn’t wait and dragged jungwon onto the floor. stepping out with your wheels made all the nostalgia from your childhood come rushing back. skating along, you maybe forgot about jungwon for a bit. until you heard a thud.

jungwon was on the ground. laughing, you skated back to him and helped him up.

“oh my god, y/n, my ass hurts so bad. i think i broke it.”

“you’re being dramatic, wonie.”

you could hear him curse under his breath.

“fuck. ow. why the fuck does it hurt so bad. ow.”

you held his hand —like a child learning how to walk for the first time. it was absolutely hilarious but adorable at the same time. you looked at him from time to time, his eyes focused on not falling. it made your heart beat even more. he’s so pretty.

you guys skated for almost 3 hours. jungwon fell 16 times. not like you were counting. walking out, it was dark outside.

“that was really fun, jungwon. thank you for this.”

“of course, y/n. anything for you.”

why was jungwon so smooth with his words? you were going to melt.

“what do you want to do now?”

jungwon thought for a bit. “do you want to come back to my house?”

it was now your turn to think. “hm… sure. i would love to.”

jungwon smiled and held his hand out once more. grabbing his hand, you both made your way to jungwon’s.

this was the best date you’ve ever been on. maybe because it was with yang jungwon.
