Transcript: “I figured I make one last post regarding the passing of Synicode as a memoir. I’ve known Synicode for about per say two or three years on the internet. I mostly known him from Tenk’s Discord server, he would also occasionally partake in Picarto chats from Pride or Thundragon’s streams as a moderator. He was also close friends with them and few other artists. He was quite possibly one of the most pleasant people I’ve ever known on the internet. Talking about things such as Dark Souls, Umineko, food and all the onnesans he adored. I really enjoyed chatting with the guy; the last thing I remember from him was when he wished me a happy birthday two weeks ago. He was a really enjoyable person to be around sort of like a brother.

However this is when things got very ugly as of this month. In November 26th 2018, when I was on Twitter I learned that he committed suicide at his own house. Pride made some tribute fanart to him, which I thought for some reason I had no idea what happened, then she told me that Synicode killed himself. According to her it was around 12:30 EST when he killed himself, the cops came rushing to his house and ruled it out as a suicide.

I felt a sense of despair and denial that I lost a very good acquaintance of mine. Not only that, other close friends of his were mortified by it. I just didn’t know what to say, I was just lost for words. He was fine two weeks ago and then he just offed himself.

Do you ever have that feeling that one neighbor you loved so much that was fun to be around and suddenly weeks later he just killed himself for reasons you don’t understand. That’s what I felt; I was feeling very confused and felled into a deep depression that this really happened.

He may be gone but his memories will live onto me for the rest of my life. As of now I am trying to move on from this nightmarish experience that I wished never happened. Synicode, you may be gone from this world but my memories of our conversations and all the joy you’ve given to me still remain intact in my head.

My condolences go out to his family, friends, and neighbors, @pride-kun @sub-res, @thundragon and all of his other online friends he was very close to. Let’s all remember the joy he given us throughout his life as he watches you all from the heavens. I feel pretty frustrated right now, but we all have to move on from loved ones and remember the positive times they gave us.
