q: is this an nsfw blog?

a: not really, but there is an awful lot of tiddy on this thing. there will continue to be tiddy. it’s more than a bit risqué sometimes, so I marked it accordingly.

q: how long have you been doing this?

a: I made my first cosplay in 2010 and my first convention was Otakon 2011.

q: what conventions do you go to?

a: the only one I reliably go to is Zenkaikon. sometimes I go to Tekko. I would like to go to a few others, and I used to frequent pretty much every convention within 2 hours of my home town, big or small.

q: you married?

a: I am, but let me put it this way - my wife approves my photos, cheers me on, and brainstorms ideas with me. I am also part of a local group of queer swingers near me. so.

q: are there photos with more tiddy, and can I see them?

a: yes, and it depends on if you ask nicely or not. if enough people ask maybe I’ll make an onlyfans or something. idk.

q: so.. why do you do this?

a: short answer: I turned 30, looked at myself in the mirror, saw my mother staring back at me and said “wow, why did she ever want to change herself when I was growing up. I look HOT.” then immediately started to show off and peacock because when you spend most of your life getting bullied for being poor and ugly but realize after doing a lot of personal growth, reflection and reprogramming that you’re actually fucking hot as hell in your own way, you kinda want to show that shit off a little bit. In particular, cosplay tends to give me a lot of overall euphoria regarding my body and gender presentation in a way I can’t describe in short form, and I absolutely adore how I look as Zoro. and also the year I ran full throttle through the convention center, high as a kite, because my wife left a $300 bag of Lolita shit outside by the club. I dropped cosplay shit though the convention center while running too.

the original Zoro cosplay, three years ago. got a hair dye too yellow too close to the con and couldn’t get it darker. still have the coat but it’s… not in the best of shape anymore tbh. the cosplay has definitely come a very very long way in a pretty short amount of time.

story time:

it’s tekko 2025. I’m cosplaying Zoro. I have been cosplaying Zoro all weekend. vendors are starting to recognize me. I am a very distinct Zoro.

my wife and I are circling a stand in the dealers hall with blind boxes. person in front of us gets the last one piece one. we go “oh bummer, no blind box for us” but the guy behind the stand goes “hold on I’ll make another one”.

i watched him grab a figure and went “oh no he did not.” then he went over to his friend, showed him what he grabbed, pointed at me, and started laughing.

transaction complete. my wife looks at me and goes, “I wonder what we got!”

I respond, “I think I know.”

exit the dealers hall. open the bag. it’s the newest god damn mihawk figure.

that guy laughed every time he saw me the rest of the weekend, I just know it.

Learned how to leatherwork just to make myself a better sword holder than the one I bought at Tekko last year for $20

I’m not great at it and the leather I have is… subpar but it’s still cool as hell and I documented how I made the whole thing too. currently tearing it apart to reburnish the edges and rebuild some parts.
