I've been meaning to delete this account, but this has some history and tiny musings from 20+ yo me that I might want to keep and cringe about in the future, when I'm older. This is probably the last time I'm posting something in here, I even posted a few things I saw on my drafts that I still like.

I also loved how this movie was written and directed by women.

Stylized acting, stylized designs, stylized music, stylized everything! This movie is for the senses!

Although I found the transition between the different events in Kiyoha's life a little awkward, the movie moved me enough to get my tears flowing (only a little I promise lol). If you get annoyed at some small details here and there, I'm sure

Japanese Mythology series {1/??}

Tsukuyomi, also known as Tsukiyomi no Mikoto is the Japanese god of the moon. He was born from Izanagi’s left eye, and is the second of The Three Noble Children. Amaterasu, the first and Susanoo, the last.

According to the myth, Tsukiyomi and Amasterasu lived together as siblings, then as a married couple. Tsukiyomi was sent by his wife to represent her at a feast served by Uke Mochi, the goddess of food. She spat out fish from the ocean, pulled meat from the forest, and coughed out a bowl of rice. Although the feast looked magnificent, he was disgusted by how it was prepared, so he killed her.

Amaterasu was angry when she learned of this, then divorced him, and moved to a different part of the sky. This explains why the moon and sun are separate and day and night exists.
