Youâre in for a lot. That man is persistent and will never leave you alone. When heâs acting as his normal self, itâs almost as if heâs already obsessed, but itâs worse when he actually wants you.Â
The first time the Pale Man had met you was when he was scouting out your house, the walls of your home towering over him and reaching for the darkened sky, the windows covered by your blinds. He spent his time before going through your neighborhood, managing his time to see if anyone was vulnerable. Of course, not many were. But he hadnât gotten to you. He walked to one of the windows, conveniently, you looked through at the time he had tried looking inside. The simple sight of your curious eyes had shifted something inside him.Â
Do not expect a kind form of obsession, like the type youâd hope for someone to have, loving you so much and having a âhealthyâ obsession with you. He wants you dead. He has a constant need to know what youâre doing, know how many people are in your home, how many are âhis boysâ, and when he can finally get to you. The Pale Man dedicates his time to figuring out whatever he can to take you down in some form.Â
The Pale Manâs dedication to isolating you isnât just a need to keep you for himself, but also because he genuinely wants to consume you in a blood thirsty way. Some people will get obsessed with another and grow the need for the person to constantly be a part of them. And thatâs what happens for the Pale Man. The possibility heâll finally find a time that youâre alone, get into your home, and consume you keeps him coming back. He wants to know the texture of your innards, the iron-y taste of your blood, and the look of fear in your eyes before your final breaths.Â
Get ready to be stalked constantly because he will never leave. If the Pale Man notices you look through the blinds in a specific order, heâll go to specific windows each night just to let you know heâs still there, that he will not leave you just because you reject him. Visits to the door are more common compared to every other person heâs pursued. Every couple nights turn to the first person you see at your door, asking if you were alone, as if you had gone on a rampage when the sun shined and he was hidden below the ground.Â
The Pale Man loves your attention. Heâs not a desperate man, he never has been or will be, but he likes the fact your eyes are on him when youâre looking through the peephole in your door and he likes that you will have the moments of hesitation when it comes to your own safety. The diction you put into specific words, the look in your eyes when you catch him standing outside in the perfect spot for you to see invigorates him. The possibility heâs the reason youâre so paranoid or the reason you cry so much more gets him to a newfound nirvana that no human or visitor has ever gotten to.Â
The way you react to him will affect the way he treats others. When he visits for the first time and you immediately tell him you have a gun, heâll conveniently turn to killing all the soldiers just to show that you canât do anything to him. You question FEMA? Heâll just lean into your worries, saying that thereâs no point in keeping anyone in your home if theyâre just going to take them.Â
As his usual behavior shows, he will not act like the days passing hurt. He would not become any more aggressive than he already is or turning to yelling at you to do something. The end of the world is a time that has already come, nobody knows how much time they have left, so he can wait as long as he wants. Every sun that rises just means another night will follow to get you alone.Â
When is he met with a âIâm not aloneâ, itâs slightly annoying for him. Heâs a patient man, yes, but it can be quite irritating to be met with the same question over and over again. He watches each person let into your home with a different look compared to the one he gives you. Itâs like he knows that each person is just another step farther from loneliness.Â
The Pale Man wonât lean too heavily into romantic banter to encourage you to let him in. He doesnât have much of an idea about how to do it since heâs already insanely awkward and dedicated to his mission. If you initiate any âintimateâ comments, heâll be more inclined to encourage it since itâs any form of attention. The Pale Man, of course, will never commit the things you say you want him to, whether because he has his mind set to killing you or because his anatomy is different since heâs a visitor is up to interpretation.Â
The night the Pale Man comes to your door and youâre finally alone is one of the numbest nights for you, whether you had committed a rampage in the morning or FEMA had taken your last people didnât matter. He was here and you couldnât avoid him. Heâll ask the question he had asked you the many nights before and you finally said that you were alone, a sound of devastation in your voice that he had grown fond of.Â
The violence that comes with the Pale Man allowing himself into your home is different to the ones he had devoted to previous victims. Heâs trying to show that you deserve the pain youâre experiencing, heâs going to keep you alive as long as possible, even if it means heâll experience hunger pains just a little bit longer.Â

The Pale Man wonât leave your home after the consumption. Your neighborhood will struggle with the constant sightings of that man, how heâll go about asking them if theyâre alone. Itâs not with the same vigor he had with you. No one knows that heâll shack himself in your home, sleeping in your old bed, the center to be exact. Enough of his body taking up the left side of the bed to symbolize himself and enough to take up the right sight, just enough for you.Â
