Reblog if you're hoping 2011 will be a fresh start.
I have this theory that Theo is going to end up as one of the nazgul
They are definitely building him up for something big and important. I think they’re going to take him, make him a genuinely great and good king, then have Sauron corrupt him with a ring (and remember, some of the men took a lot longer to fall than others!!! I hope he takes a long time and struggles against it and we really see it get to play out well!!!) and it would be excellent to see him become the Witch King of Angmar.
That being said, I hope he becomes even more of a good guy and stays that way because I love him, I’m just saying that it would be FANTASTIC for his character to go down that darker path especially with the way he foiled Isildur in season two.
if you see this post you are obligated to reblog and tell me something good that happened to you this year
There is something so tragiclly symbolic about the greatest of elven smiths choosing to cut off his thumb in order to escape the evil he inadvertently welcomed in. His hands, second to his mind (which Sauron has already destroyed), are his greatest tools. It's not just an escape attempt, it's Celebrimbor choosing to relinquish ever being able to craft again, even if he were to survive Sauron's torture. His grandfather crafted the Silmarils, which for centuries brought war and strife to Middle Earth. But Celebrimbor, the last heir of Feanor, choose to never be able to craft again in favor of the good of Middle Earth.
This, exactly. He did best Feanor in the end.
You're too manly and opinionated to be a Christian woman. They are dainty, softspoken, meek, and childlike. They only speak when ordered to and they DO NOT argue with men.

1. Elrond in front of a ceremonial portrait of Elros
2. Elrond moments before the death of Gil-galad in the Battle of the Last Alliance
3. now not a herald, now - a lord
4. Elrond tells the story of Middle-earth to Estel (Aragorn)
5. They all left him (Elwing, Earendil, Elros, Celebrian, Gil-Galad, Celebrimbor, Arwen, Aragorn and Maglor with Maedhros on panno)
to YOU it's mysterious. i have read the bible
shout out to green. somehow an underrated color despite being everywhere in nature. not enough real green appreciators out there. what can’t she do honestly. mint green sage green sea foam green forest green lime green!!! never have i ever met a green i did not like. true green enjoyers understand.
haters will see a winter enjoyer and say "why are you going outside it's cold and boring" and not even see the beauty in desolation and stillness 🙄
the reason why i love Elrond is: I have already lost so much, but let me build this safe haven, be as kind as summer, heal people, adopt kids, give advice, preserve knowledge, host parties and close eyes to Bilbo singing about my father
every single text post i see about the silmarillion has me more and more confused…..kinslaying over some shiny rocks??? half the continent disappearing??? something about some fellow called feanor being dramatic but secksy but also a mass murderer???? elrond having twenty parents???? luthien singing her way out of odd situations and also beating sauron up??? oaths are bad but burning boats is ok???
the werewolves??????
i’m sorry WHAT???????
ok my bad, boat-burning is also frowned upon! wait is that why everyone likes this guy so much??? is the bar really that low??
???????????????????
thinking about how fëanor and co are really out here spiders georging the statistics for fucked up things done by elves
