A veces me preocupa mucho mi futuro y lo que será de mí y otras veces no quiero saber nada de mi propia existencia.
Harvester of Sorrow.
Found this comic on Twitter and really liked it, so I spent a whole day working on this dub and stayed up way too late editing the video.

underrated part of petting a cat is when you reach over their head to scratch their back and they bonk their head on ur arm
that’s the stuff………………
This to me is the cats equivalent of when I kisses the forehead

I did a comic called Style for some website that i can’t remember the name of back in maybe 1999-2000. It only lasted for a few weeks and was really bad. I was pretty young.
It was about 3 high school girls. The main character was Lauren Wood and the other two girls were Lisa Miller and Kim Pine. The title “Style” was just meaningless – I was really into this Orbital song called Style, and I liked the word. The comic wasn’t about fashion, it wasn’t really about anything. I was trying to be just like Paul Pope and my art was very derivative of his work at the time.
A few years later I resurrected the title and characters for 3 really goofy comedy strips on the Oni Press website. I think it was one per month, and those months were November 2002, December 2002 and January 2003.
I did these strips just before starting work on Lost at Sea, but they are more of a precursor to Scott Pilgrim (which I had already been doing notes and sketches for since around March 2002).
Obviously, Kim Pine would be a major Scott Pilgrim character; the high school backdrop became the basis for Scott’s high school memories; and Lisa Miller is involved in the Scott Pilgrim books too. (Lauren became just a cameo in SP.)
In these strips the characters don’t really have much of a personality. Since I only did three, I didn’t develop it very much beyond silly jokes. The third strip was done when I was sick with a cold, so it kinda sucks, but whatever.
There you have it!
