Chase tries to bring this up in a normal conversation but he is not subtle at all. “So um, do ya maybe wanna buy some weed. It’s some really good shit.”

“Do I look like someone who smokes weed?”

Olivia sighs dropping her arms by her sides before bringing the apple to her lips. “No one in this camp has a sense of adventure.”

“Asking people to murder you is not an adventure.”

He raised an eyebrow. “Alright….I mean I don’t know what I’ll scream about next but I imagine it’ll surprise me and make me scream and if it’s somethin’ ridiculous, I’ll feel stupid ‘bout it like I do now but thank ya for yer input.”

“You’re welcome. Please get dressed.”

“Sorry. Mel chewed me out for making the cabin smell.” He says briefly, then continues setting his pipe up. “Promise you won’t snitch?”

“Depends. What’s in the pipe.”

“Aim high. Then you just miss. Too low I die, but I’m telling you to aim high. Besides I’m wearing chest armor. I don’t have a death wish I just like adrenaline.” She rolled her eyes. “Would you feel better if I wore a helmet?”

“Chest armor or a helmet is not going to stop an arrow if you are standing still and I am aiming directly at you. Especially not from this distance.” He shoots another arrow at a target. “I’m not going to shoot anything off of you.”

He furrows his brow. “I mean if anyone screamed I would’ve checked it out. Who’s to say that someone else wouldn’t have come to check it out.”

“You could be right. But now we when you scream it’s probably something absolutely trivial.”

“Hey, close the door, would you?” He says, keeping his back to who ever is in the doorway.

“Can you wait until I actually walk inside? Jesus.” He closes the door and drops down on his own bed. “What are you doing?”

“No,” she says firmly, crossing her arms, “Because you don’t put up with my bullshit and you don’t get all offended. Besides, I’m way out of your league.”

“Okay, sweetheart. You keep telling yourself that.” His tone is ultra condescending.

“I love him, Brayan. I can’t hurt him. I’m so fucked.”

He makes a grossed out face. “Why do you love him?”

“Well I screamed and didn’t want people to come runnin’ into the shower when I was naked so I threw on a towel and came out here before ‘nyone could do that. That and it would’ve gotten my clothes all wet.”

“You really think people are going to come running when you scream?”

She rolled her eyes. “Helps me not die of boredom.” She deadpans taking the apple off of her head. “No sense of adventure anymore around here.” She said tossing the apple up and down in her hand. “Probably just didn’t think you could do it.”

“What happens if I miss?” he asks, still shooting at the actual targets.

Right, the clues. “Not if you’re being impatient like that.” Raine had nearly forgotten about it - which no one could blame her for doing so especially when she was so distracted. She dragged her lips along his jaw, leaving kisses here and there. Honestly was this a good idea? Probably not but it was too late to back down now, as Raine left hickeys down Brayan’s neck until she reached that spot.

Brayan sucks in a shuddering breath and smiles when her mouth reaches his sweet spot. “Clue two is a little more hidden,” he tells her. “I’d need to take some of my clothes off.” His tone is suggestive.

Raine’s momentarily taken aback, the red on her cheeks turning a darker shade. She bites down on his bottom lip before pulling away slightly.”See? This is the kind of thing you should be doing more often -” She smirks, before continuing the kiss again. 

“I do this often enough,” he says when they separate again for air. He moves his lips against hers, pushes his body against hers. “So about that first clue...” he says between kisses.
