Theo the hot lad, prepartory voodoo rituals and dirty glasses
don't mind me, just recovering from watching 'Divergent' aka 'that movie from that book with that painfully hot guy that took off his shirt'.
But anyway, welcome to the 'Dark Side of The Oloris', the series of posts, where I, Oloris, desperately try to find a funny introduction but, instead, just end up saying how desperately I've been trying to find a funny intoduction.
As I said, I've just finished watching 'Divergent' as a true tumblr boy. Well actually a true tumblr boy would have watched it as soon as it came out, but I got really close the the screen when Theo showed luky Shailene his 'tattoos', so I guess that counts.
Oh God. Just found out that Theo is a Brit. 4/5.
Oh my God, I'm watching one of his interviews. 4.5/5.
Now here's the reason why I'm trying so hard to get a british accent.
Speaking of films, 'Divergent' is not the only movie I've been waiting so long to watch. I'm pretty sure I made an entire list of all the film that I need to watch. But see, for me it's not that simple. I need to physically and mentally prepare before watching a movie, which means that necessary conditions have to be satisfied in order for me to fully enjoy a film:
First of all, I need to be in the right mood. Do I really want to watch this film or is it just another way to procrastinate?
Once I'm sure of that, the next step is judging what kind of effort is the film worth: If my expectation are not that high, I'll just clean my glasses and watch it from the chair in front of the computer. Otherwise, if the film is supposed to be really good, I'll do anything, even wait days, to watch it in full HD. I'll make shortbread biscuits to eat during the film and, once I've checked the right position I should be in, I'll take a shower and run my glasses under hot water to make sure they're as clean as possible. Then, time for a last sound check and the film can start.
Of course, the day after has to be free.
And the moon high in the sky.
Well, now that you know why I didn't want tto watch that film with you that time, well it's beacause my glasses were dirty.
Have a great weekend. Bye.
