Zacian calmly approached the man to see him. Despite this originally being Athena’s trip, it appears that Zacian has taken quite the keen interest. She gave a small bow. “Well met, Royal Knight Kinai. It has been 3,000 years since I have last seen anyone of royalty. I pray that you – and the royalty as a whole – have been doing quite well in my absence.”

“Do not mind her too much. She is just so excited to see any resemblance in familiarity since we left the Galar region. Not quite homesick, but not too far off.”

Nihika let out a slight chuckle. seeing someone other than himself interested in Kinai’s history was a rare thing to happen. Kinai offers a kneel, bowing his head down to the legendary. Nihika: It is much alright. Zacian would be a first in much a long time to take interest in the tale of his and his ancestors.

Nihika: Ah, howdy there! I’m actually quite surprised that people heard of there being someone associated with the Dragon Trial.

Indeed, I was with Totem Kommo-o and running the Grand Trial for most of my life, retiring about 20 or so years ago due to my age and wishing to travel more. Though, I still do tend to Kommo-o, with my home being built besides the cave where the trial takes place and the Altars of the Sun and Moon.

I’m glad that you’ve been enjoying the trials Alola has to offer! I know how mainstream gyms have become and am glad that hasn’t deterred you from taking part.

While I had not understood why at the time, meeting you and your Beheeyem is starting to make sense.” She looked at Behee a little more nervously. Hopefully either Behee won’t notice who she is or won’t be bothered to blow her cover. “It is alright, Behee. I would not mind listening to him speak. I do not have much planned today anyway.” That and she was informed to have a free day when visiting him. She assumed that this was why.

Nihika: It is the Galarian Blade of legend! Very fascinating! I’ve heard many a tale about them when I traveled to Galar! Kinai seems to know much about the history of Galar from his former role there. And it’s quite alright. I know how highly unusual we, or at the very least Behee, can be. Ah, I do apologize. Would you all wish to come inside? I do be curious as to why someone would be advised to visit us in more recent times, especially since I’ve long hung up the title of Poni Island’s Kahuna. Behee: Your loss if his old man ramble talk gets to ya eventually.

Carrying the Torch

So, I’ve been thinking about this the last couple of years, and I wanna make a statement. We have to accept things as they are folks, and it looks like constraction is either on an indefinite hiatus, or may simply be dead. We’ve gotten no updates, no teasers, and no confirmation of anything constraction related in a long while, and after Bionicle II died, and CCBS Star wars did poorly, I think it might be safe to say that at present, Lego has no plans for these things in the future. This is difficult for many of us to accept. Bionicle was a huge part of our lives, and to see the entire genre go the way of the dinosaurs is kind of heart wrenching. This is our childhoods we’re talking about, here. I tried to remain optimistic throughout the trilogy (no I don’t count Chima) of CCBS lines, but let’s be real here, it’s been a goddamned downhill slope. Lego just doesn’t seem to know what to do with it’s constraction IPs anymore, and many of us are wondering how the hell they could’ve forgotten Bionicle’s success and what made it so good and appealing, but regardless, here we are. We’;ve arrived at a cliff. At the same time this has been going on, Bionicle’s community has been fucking deteriorating. It’s not just Tumblr. There’s been infighting, there’s been separation, and there are greater issues that I really, just really don’t want to get into here. People are just fucking leaving the fandom left and right. And I am here to finally say: I’m. Not. Going to. I’m fucking staying right here. To the end. Ya’ll motherfuckers are gonna have to fucking shove me off the cliff. I’m not fucking moving. I will stay here and keep the torch of Bionicle’s legacy burning until I am the last person who remembers it. I will be that guy. I will never quit. I will be a fandom of one if I have to. I don’t think it’ll have some symbolism to it, any fucking greater impact, but uh, you motherfuckers can just fucking leave, I’m staying right in me chair. Ya can’t make me go, guys. Bionicle is important to me. This fandom is important to me. I will stay. I will keep the torch burning.

Though things have gotten super slow and life's been getting busier, my love for Bionicle will never falter. I shall remain here and I don't see myself leaving any time soon.

A knock can be heard from the entrance. A familiar voice can be heard. It shouted "Uhh, Hello? Takarrah, are you home?" The voice seemed a but shakey, but not much. A light can be seen illuminating the entrance not long after. He called again. "You home buddy?"

“I’m here. I just woke up, but I’m here.”

The voice apologized. “Uhh, sorry. Want me to come back later? I don’t wanna disturb ya.” The light at the front went out.

“No, you are not disturbing me. I should have been up and going hours ago. What brings you here?”

The light returned and got brighter as the footsteps got louder. A shadow could be seen on the wall before the figure became visible. Psykan appeared, waving with the same smile he always brings. "Just wanted to drop by and visit and all since we haven't seen ya in a while and we missed ya. Sorry for showing up abruptly." He rubbed the back of his neck and chuckled nervously, looking around.
