Writer’s Month Prompt List 2023

Writer’s Month is a daily prompt event in August. Posting for the event starts on August 1st, but we're posting the prompt list early to give everyone the chance to get a headstart on the writing!

The rules are simple: All content is allowed (including fanfiction, original fiction, poetry, etc). There is no word limit, minimum or maximum. You will have one week to fill each prompt.

And if you manage to complete all 31 prompts and fill out a google form with links to your entries at the end of the month, you will receive a personalized badge as a reward! There will be non-personalized badges for everyone else participating.

It's a lot easier to prevent cramps from getting bad than to stop them once they already are. Take the medicine sooner and use the heating pad sooner rather than later.

This is true of pain medication for ANY condition. My mom drilled this into me back when she worked as an O.R. nurse: Do not wait until the pain is bad. If you know it’s going to be, get ahead of it. First cramp? Medicate now. Twinges of a headache? Medicate now. Pulled your back and you know you’ll feel it later? Medicate NOW.

Whenever I've been feeling down for the past year and a half, Manhunt has been there for me. I could literally watch these videos on loop forever, both for their cinematic editing and insane Minecraft parkour, and because their friendship bleeds through it all: Manhunt wouldn't be Manhunt without random karaoke, your mom jokes, BBH's mining songs, and George dying in the stupidest ways <3

All this is to say I'm so glad I found Dream, and the Dream Team, and the Muffinteers, and the whole Manhunt crew, and all of their friends. They've made my life better, and I'm so happy that I got to watch their lives get better, too. They really went from friends in the game to real life, right before our eyes.

Happy Birthday, Dream. Here's to another year of You, whether that means more music, more videos, six hunters and irl manhunt, or something entirely different. (Though I would give anything for Skeppy to be the sixth hunter but -- shush, I quiet my demons.)
