if i was rtd writing the scene where ten drops rose back in the parallel world, i would’ve made her scream in his face until he cried… imagine being dropped off on the beach where the love of your life told you that he could never see you again and, after spending MONTHS/YEARS working yourself to death in order to get back to him… it was all for nothing. if that wasn’t bad enough, the beach is in NORWAY, a country you don’t even live in. a country you never wanted to visit again because it’s where your soulmate SHATTERED your heart.

on top of that, he gives you a CLONE of himself to fall in love and build a life with, even though you both know that something will always seem off because it’s not really HIM. PLUS, that clone still has major issues that you’re left to deal with - you tried everything to get back to him and the life you had before but he drops you in the one place you felt trapped, destined to never see your best friends again, with a contestant reminder (tentoo) of the adventures you’ll never have again.

the people on rose’s estate will never know what happened to her and her family, the kids she used to babysit are left to wonder what happened to the girl who let them stay up late and have sugary snacks.

this post is not supposed to be hate towards any character, i love ten and tentoo. i am of the opinion that tentoo and rose wouldn’t just be in love with each other straight away, that’s not how relationships work.

ten tells rose that metacrisis is “me when we first met… and you made be better” etc etc… implying that he’s not really the same person, which means that their relationship is different to tenrose and i believe rose would have to take time to acknowledge all the trauma she went through in such a small amount of time before getting into another relationship.

i love metacrisis and i’m glad they got their happy ending with rose and mia BUT it would take them a while to get to that point, that’s all i’m saying.

and btw if you can’t critique a character and recognize their flaws then you’re probs not a fan x
