One of my ex's was a die hard Ed Sheeran fan and another was a die hard Imagine Dragons fan.
Choose your fighter
Picking random plants when I'm out so I can press them and research them when I get home. Making my own little sample book so I don't need to constantly get my phone out
I love a good artistic horror movie. I love shit, cheesy, early 2000s slashers too but sometimes a low budget, artistic film can be so fun to get into and make personal interpretations. I get so excited talking about them afterwards
I need more people to understand that sustainability doesn't just lie in things like "use less plastic, recycle, thrift and etc". Though that is important in its own right, it seems like people have forgotten that sustainability comes in the form of knowledge as well.
Dying practices, languages, cultures, songs and so on are being lost due to a lack of sustainability. Of course, a large part is also due to colonialism and enforcement of specific ways of living but I also find that knowledge is dying because not enough people are taking the time to learn or even share the knowledge they have.
We've lost that aspect of community and I know I'm not the first to say that. I'm not a social person but I will still do my best to go out of my way to educate others with what I know and learn from them what I don't.
Everyone can share and learn something they are passionate about. Being able to have grounds for communication and passing on what we know is such a crucial part of human development - and I'm speaking in terms of generations.
"No one wants to hear what i want to say" - someone will.
Find something you love, learn all you can and spread what you know to as many people as possible.
Cultivate something you are proud of and spread what you know because you never know just how much of an impact you might have. Something so small can be the start of a whole new way of life for someone.
Knowledge is connection and is just as sustainable as what you can do physically.
Looking like a mad bitch tryna get all my plants outside during the heavy rain so they get some love. Forcing them into the elements like "You WILL grow". Survival of the fittest bitch
Kinda just want someone to lay on the floor and stare at the ceiling with
I hate grass lawns
Me at 10: "I wanna be a scientist!"
*years of extensive trauma, emotional neglect, mental illness and unsupportive family members*
Met at 15: "I'm leaving school and doing art because my friend is and no one is telling me to go back to school"
*years more of mental illness, uncertain living conditions, rapid mental decline, moving country only to move home months later, violent self loathing and gender crisis*
Me now, at 24: "Man, I kinda wanna be a scientist"
Carnivorous plants doin this is so funny to me
They don't wanna eat their pollinators :(
Lads, I've decided to work towards my BSC Hons degree. Environmental science/biology, here we goooooo
Finding out about study timers at my big age of 24 at the end of my first year back at uni has been a lifesaver but why the fuck didn't I find these sooner :'(
I will never outright make fun of someone because they dress basic. I dress basic half the time because I don't have the energy to be in full goth 24/7.
I won't outright pick on someone for the way they look because attraction and beauty are very personal and extremely subjective to each person.
You will never manage to upset me by insulting my sense of style or my appearance because of the previous reasons. I don't adhere to a lot of standards, I am a very average looking person (and thats legit fine by me).
THAT BEING SAID, if you come for me by dishing out insults on how I look and get hurt if I return that energy - babe you've just shot yourself in the foot and it ain't mine.
I'm a goth. I look weird for a reason. I get stares, I get comments, blah blah end of the world. But don't go hating me or other alternative people BECAUSE we look alt.
Same goes for alt folk who pick on people plainly for looking "basic" - HUH?? Leave them alone?? They're just dressing how they want to. God forbid.
We can all learn something from eachother. We can all grow because of eachother and appreciate differences (differences not ignorance and arrogance). Neither of my best friends are goth, they both dress very "basic" - so why am I seeing bitches on both sides coming at eachothers throats???
Embarrassing. Be kind to others, respect others and treat them how they treat you if needed. Lead with compassion and kindness first and then drag their ass after if you have to. Calm tf down.
Forever mourning the fact that I never had a close friend group like the H2O Just Add Water girls. I wish I had friends that I was able to study with, go out with and live life with properly.
I just wanted to be a mermaid with friends bro 😭
America has some of the most gorgeous landscapes and cultures. Sucks that the government is so shit, you guys have such a beautiful home being ran by the scum of the earth
Half tempted to post some of my plant work from uni on here because sustainability also comes in the form of knowledge and I wanna spread what I KNOWWWWW
I love this game so much
