Isaac didn’t recognize the guy but he smiled and waved back anyways. Maybe people had changed? He scoffed to himself. He wasn’t naive enough to really believe that. But he could hope and pray that people had. He watched the younger one walk around and he wondered for a moment, if he actually knew who he was or if he was just being polite. Licking his lips, he directed his gaze back to his phone for a moment before his therapists words rang through his head,** ‘don’t isolate yourself. It’ll do you no good.’ **With a small sigh, he looked over at him and tried a another smile in his direction. “Hey…” He said quietly. “Uh, I’m Isaac.” He told him, holding out his hand. It felt weird to introduce himself. People usually knew who he was and if he didn’t introduce himself, it was almost always to be polite, not because he actually had to.
“Isaac...” He repeated softly before shaking his hand. “I’m Vincent. Nice to meet you.” Vincent definitely felt like he did the right thing for once, knowing that he was Isaac. Of course he wasn’t going to ask him why he disappeared or anything, for that really wasn’t any of his business. But the guy seemed nervous... maybe he just needed a friend.
