What does it mean to be alive?

I remember when things used to be so simple and easy. When the air wasn't so heavy, And the Summer wasn't so hot. The sky was beautiful and the oceans were well. What have we done, The true is , We live day by day , not thinking about what we're doing to the planet , the planet that was gifted onto us by someone or something. Some of us care, but for those who don't , Take a look out side, Smell the 7am air, Listen to the sound of the people, Because in an instant, This can all end with a sudden crash, Or even in silence. What if today was your last day? What if The last thing you say to someone is negative? Would you take it all back? Would you regret everything? Think about it, And remember when the air wasn't heavy and the summer wasn't so hot. The world , the planet we live in , may be nasty and evil, But you have to take it upon yourself to make life what you want it to be, not what it is, Not what the world is. I may not be the wisest person alive, Hell, I might even be an idiot, But One thing that i know for sure is that when it comes to life, We must cherish it and we must full understand what it means . What it means to be alive.
