I got to see Welcome to Night Vale live tonight!! It was great and I got super emotional at one point and yeah. Highly recommend.

I’m okay! The car was stopped at a stop sign, there was cross traffic so the car shouldn’t have moved, and I had time to cross, but they rolled forward and knocked me down.

It wasn’t very fast at all, I’m just a little sore from falling (and I screamed pretty loud lol) but no injuries - but it was scary (probably more so for the driver!)

I’m glad the driver was nice, I felt bad because she felt so bad! I hope she’s okay! She was pretty rattled.

But thank you for your concern! I haven’t really told anyone because I’m embarrassed lol but I wanted to get it off my chest because it was rather exciting, really!

so.... I got hit by a car yesterday. That happened. Also I'm going to see Batman v Superman on Tuesday so that's cool I guess. And I really enjoyed Daredevil season 2!

I bought this print (and a Winter Soldier one too!) at Lexington Comic and Toy Con this weekend and I am OBSESSED with this artists work. Everyone should go check them out! She is super duper talented and nice! (And so is her sister!!)

me: im kind of uncomfortable with the way marvel is marketing captain america: civil war with “choose your side” etc, and i feel like its detracting from the overall moral conflict of the movie. if its anything like the comics, both sides make huge mistakes, both sides go too far, both sides contribute to the death and destruction. marvel should not be encouraging people to choose between cap and iron man, because neither of them are completely right in this.
