Hear me, broken mother,
Your child swaddled in blood-stained robes,
Hear me, she who was most beloved and she who never bowed,
My hands broken and scarred,
Saintly mother of justice,
I ask for your guidance,
For your sorrowful voice to sow hope upon my ears,
I ask for your temperance,
To survive incoming toil,
I ask to walk your steps,
So I never turn myself to apathy,
I ask for your strength,
As I fend off the boot that ravaged the fruits of my labor.
I, who is closest to a beast of burden,
I, born lower than dirt,
I, who asks for your aid,
To bring your harpoon down into all who deemed me so,
Stones may rain above the heads of greed and conquest,
Through your wrathful blessing I may know rest,
Hear my words, my plea, Mother Aluhsya,
That I may sing your name as your children rise in rebellion.
I wrote this on chapter 11 though not sure if I want to translate everything to my poorly made Elven lenguage, tbh I feel the way it is written is hard to follow since I just shoved it between regular paragraphs.
I think to this day the only fully good chapter I've made is 7 but not hating this one. I am questioning however if I want to rewrite all of 5, while I am attached to the idea of making it the POV of one of the character's mother it's starting to feel somewhat disconected from everything.
