The moment the monk declines, Bob’s shoulders drop. A hand moves to rest at his chin, the other on the Omnic’s hip as he looks Zenyatta up and down. Eyes narrow, a small nod to himself, and it’s settled.

⋆ I want to recruit him.

A tip of the hat, and Bob feels like a salesperson putting on a pitch. Extra care is taken in dusting off his coat and now he’s feels just charming enough to not be considered sleazy.

Bob pauses a moment, the Omnic waving his hand to gesture to Zenyatta-- as a whole.

“I ‘preciate the enthusiasm Bob, but ya’ best leave the screening process to me.

 I’ve gotta’ make ‘em squirm a little first…”

He’s squinting at her, head cocked to the side as he debates whether or not to sass her. It’s clear enough she’s being lighthearted, but there’s slight offense in the idea that she wants to hog the authority in hiring.

⋆ Yes, yes... You’re good at picking them, but I think I can give it try. 

⋆ I think we can compromise.

A softer smile than most got to experience from the cowgirl spread across her lips to the bulky Omnic as she tweaked a few minor bits to make sure he was 100%. “You’re welcome, Bob.” Ashe responds in a relieved tone. He’d been a bit of a wreck not too long ago. She’s glad to see him responsive again.

“We’re family, you ‘n me.” Voice trails a little as Ashe attempts to reach up and put that hat upon his head once again, but ends up having to wait until he leaned down to accommodate her height with his. With the hat firmly in place once again? Ashe can finish her thoughts, wiping a bit of grease from her forehead as she does so.

“All the things you did for me before? Do for me now? And probably will do for me in the future? I’m jus’ happy yer up ‘n standin’ again…” Pausing she grabs a cold bottle of water from the mini fridge in the garage and gives him a one over.

“So did I do good? Y’all back in one big lunky piece again?” Questions with a chuckle chugging some of that cold water. The outlaw ain’t sure what would happen if Bob wasn’t around. Likely she wouldn’t make it for too long. Or if she did? She wouldn’t be the same. He was family. He protected her, and took care of the silly mundane tasks Ashe wasn’t so good at taking care of herself and well … She’s mighty glad she was able to learn enough about Omnic repairs to be the one he could rely on too. “Now do me a favor, ‘n don’t go getting hurt like that again, alright? That’s an order. I dunno what I’d do if I lost ya’.”

Lena gives him a wave, attempting to track his attention. Once she has it, Lena offers him a little drawing of himself, in his hat, waving at someone in the distant. "Here ya go, big guy. I hope ya like it!"

He isn't sure what exactly the enthusiastic young lady wants from him, and it does make him nervous. For the first attempt he glances in her direction and then looks forward again. Maybe she's waving at someone else.

Then she does it again.

When he finally looks at her, Bob is surprised to see she's giving him a paper. Gentle hands take it and he gestures towards himself as if to confirm the blatant fact that this was for him.

The delight is clear in his body language as he raises the drawing to his face. What a lovely present!

⋆ Compared to what Elizabeth doodles, this was really well made.

Looking at the Brit, he gives a small nod.

And here's the first visitor! "Hi, BOB! Happy Halloween, big guy!" Ray greets with a wave, gesturing toward the bowl. "Think I could get some?"

Bob waves right back, delighted to see his first trick or treater! A tip of his hat and he nods. Instead of letting them pick however, Bob takes it upon himself to choose for them! Why? Well-- it creates a sense of surprise, and it makes him feel more involved in the interaction.

Ray receives a king sized Twix!

Bob’s made a little stand in the middle of nowhere!

Looks similar to a lemonade stand, though decorated with the cheapest Halloween decorations he could gather on such short notice. 

He’s sat at the little table, and with him? A giant bowl of candy. 

Sat beside the bowl, is a sign. 

Halloween Candy! No catch, just ask. :-)

Even with his limited expression, with how his hands are clasped together and politely rested on the table... He seems eager to pass some out. 

⋆ And now... we wait.

"Can you not understand me?... or do you just not care."

⋆ Truthfully? I don't care.

He doesn't humor much of a response, instead taking it upon himself to fluff his coat and awkwardly peek at the shorter person through his peripheral.

⋆ Ah.

He doesn't bother with signing, instead going for a plain shoo motion in hopes it gets the message across.
