First I want to truly truly apologize. I want to make sure you know, despite me not meaning to say something racist, I understand it was and you were hurt by it and I am really sorry. Being white, I know I don’t have any right to belittle or dismiss how you took my original post no matter what the intention was. I’m really sorry it came out the way it did.

I’m not going to sit here and tell you how I’m not racist because personally I think saying I’m not racist is the most bs shit in the world. If someone is white they will and can be racist or say racist things even if they didn’t want to, there is no stopping that, but I can try my best not to be and to fix it as best I can when I inevitably fuck up. If someone is white (like me) they do not have any authority on whether something they say is racist or not.

So again, I am sorry for the way it came out, I take full responsibility for it which is why I’m responding and not ignoring you or deleting the post (I will be setting the original post to private so it does not spread as a stand alone message that may hurt other people, but this post is staying up).

But I desperately hope you read this entire post before responding. I’m sorry it’s long. But this isn’t about a ship. This is about representation.

I didn’t just say BLM, I brought up a few recent and a large events protesting wrongs in our society. I was trying to explain that our generation fights for what is right a lot (more than I think older generations did). My goal for this post was to have people tell me what the CW has done that is wrong. But my main goal was to get things the CW has done which are racist, like the CW not hiring black stylists so black women don’t get their hair treated correctly (scroll or find in page: Bernadette Beck) or how CW workers treat POC badly over the white people on set, OR HOW THEY REPEATEDLY HAVE THAT RACIST CUNT ON THE GOD DAMN NETWORK (like where is the raging hate for that guy, huh fandom). I don’t know every racist thing the CW has done but I do know there is an extreme lack of POC representation from the CW on the screen, in the writers rooms, and on the set itself, and I’m sorry I didn’t just outright say that.

I was not trying to lessen the importance of Black Lives Matter. But, I understand that is how it seemed to come across and I apologize.

I know LGBT representation isn’t as important as Black Lives but representation itself is important, not as important obviously but important, because it shows white, straight, cisgender people that [insert minority here] are human too. And of course to let of see people like us as well.

But this is where I need to explain, as a member of the lgbt+ community, why I said destiel. So please here me out. I’m not doing this to make excuses for my actions or the way I wrote that post but clearly you don’t understand the lgbt related situation because a lot of us were hurt by the way the CW managed those final episodes. I also want to use your reply to point out what is going on from the perspective of someone who watches supernatural and understands what I meant by saying destiel to someone outside the fandom but I also need to call out the racism in this fandom as all of this (fighting the CW) is happening. Please please hear me out because this is really important for everyone. This is an lgbt rights situation that is absolutely crucial every one understands. But I know people should have been taking the CW apart long before this because of the blatant racism. This is in no way meant to disregard or belittle racism, black lives matter, or any situation involving people of color.

Besides the fact that Mercy is white ( which is a crime in of itself), she questionably obtained a POC's body, and without consent used him. She emotionally manipulated him, and left him in a state of questionably sanity. She is literaly the white devil.

She grooms him, gives him sense of comfort but in reality she's just playing him. Genji, to her is just an attack dog, there to get rid of enemies. Lord knows how long Genji was in blackwatch, but even at the end of it shes provided no mental support for him. Genji simply wanders till he finds Zenyatta, who helps him come to terms with himself.

I was watching the 'Alive' animation, and for some reason I got really offended. It took me awhile to realise what part I got offended by and it was the killing of Mondatta. At first I thought I was Mondattakin, but when I listened to his speech, I didn't connect with him.

Then, after playing a game of overwatch I realised I was ZenyattaKin. Memories awoke within me, of training my Student Genji, being schooled by my brother and embracing the Iris. I have come to terms with my nature. As a machine with a soul trapped in a human body.
