Shanelle Gabriel is a poet, singer and activist who hails from Brooklyn, NY. Widely known for featuring on HBO's Def Poetry Jam, she has toured nationally and internationally, shared stages with artists such as Talib Kweli, Eric Benet, and Jill Scott, and has been spotlighted on The Rachel Ray Show, Fox News, ABC News Johannesburg, in a promo for the NFL Draft, and more. An advocate for Lupus, Shanelle has also spoken at the National Press House with the President of the National Institute of Health and performed at numerous Lupus Walks and Health Conferences throughout the US.
